Bobbi Kristina made her first public appearance since her mother's passing at last night's Billboard Music Awards. Bobbi was seen crying throughout the Whitney tribute as Jordin Sparks sang "I Will Always Love You." Bobbi was well spoken and composed as she addressed the crowd at the MGM. Bobbi's boyfriend Nick Gordon walked her up the stairs and kissed her on the cheek before she spoke. Bobbi appears at the 6:00 mark.

Bobbi Kristina, her "brother" and boyfriend Gary, sister in law Pat and Whitney's mother Cissy Houston will be telling their story on Lifetime's upcoming reality series, The Houston Family Chronicles. The show will revolve around Pat and Gary Houston as they take care of Bobbi Kristina "as she face the world alone without her mother," dun dun dun dun!

Pat Houston says that the series was in the works before Whitney's untimely passing but has since been revamped in honor to pay tribute to her legacy.

Pat says: "The unexpected passing of Whitney certainly affects the direction of the show. However, it is my hope that others will be enlightened as they watch our family heal and move forward."

I guess. I just remember the train wreck that was Being Bobby Brown, so I'm hoping this show will be edited to death to only show the positive side of this family.

The L.A. County Coroner has just released a report noting the official cause of Whitney Houston's tragic death. The iconic singer died of accidental drowning. Cocaine was found in Houston's system. Cocaine use and heart disease led to her death. It is "very possible" that Whitney had a heart attack which led to her to consciousness and drown.

TMZ reports: "The heart attack may have been triggered by hardening of the arteries as a result of cocaine use. Law enforcement sources have told us from the beginning they did not suspect foul play -- and believe her death was not a homicide."

I can't believe it. I thought that the drugs that were found on the scene, which included Xanax, Ibuprofen and Midol, mixed with alcohol led to Houston's death. To know that it was cocaine, a drug Bobby Brown allegedly introduced her to, makes this story that much more tragic. R.I.P.

Ray J's love of recording his own grown folks' business apparently didn't end with his relationship to Kim Kardashian. Star and Radar Online are reporting that Ray J is currently in possession of  “a ton of sexually explicit photos and videos” of himself and his late girlfriend, Whitney Houston.

Naturally, Whitney's family is less than thrilled with this development and are said to be doing everything in their power to block the release of the tapes. Star reports that the Houstons have “been in contact with Ray and told him they do not want any photos or videos painting her in a bad light to come out.” For his part, Ray is said to be "stalling...because he knows he's sitting on a goldmine."

Well, I don't doubt for a second that this footage exists. After all, we're talking about the reigning King of the Celebrity Sex Tape here. But I do doubt that Ray J would be dumb enough to try to cash in on his late girlfriend's legacy this way, and it's hard to believe even the grimiest porn company would be ghoulish enough to put a grieving family through that kind of trauma. So while there's a good chance Ray J is, in fact, the proud owner of a Whitney Houston sex tape, it will probably, thankfully, never see the light of day.

At first, I was happy to hear Bobbi Kristina Brown has a new boyfriend. It seemed she'll finally have someone she can trust to help her through the tragic death of her mother. Then I found out some of the details...

Bobbi Kristina and Nick Gordon grew up together and were basically raised as brother and sister. There's no blood relationship between the two, but Whitney Houston took Gordon in as a child when he was suffering through some major family issues. So Bobbi and Nick have been close for most of their lives, but they confirmed on Twitter last night that they've recently become more than friends.

I'm actually okay with the sorta siblings aspect of the relationship. What's strange to me is the timing...and Nick's weird defensiveness. "Yea we got a little closer and what!!!... All the haters that dont know us or th real story can't un follow me. I don't give a f--k. I've proved my loyalty to her and the Houston family." Nick wrote on Twitter. "For the stupid ppl out there she gave birth to 1 child. And she trusted me with EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!" It's all a bit much from a man who just started dating a girl who recently inherited $20 million. Ya know?

Bobbi Kristina's interview with Oprah is below. They both spoke to each other while standing up, which is weird. Anyway, Bobbi seems like she's doing really well, like, unusually well. I think Oprah caught her on a very good day. She can't be this upbeat about her best friend's passing. Whitney and Bobbi were inseparable, literally. When Oprah asks Bobbi what she did with Whitney the night before she passed, Bobbi says: “I slept in her arms all day, all night long." So yeah, Bobbi and Whitney Houston were close. This must be rough for the 18 year-old, but I also feel like Whitney gave her enough love to last a lifetime. It's heartwarming to see that Bobbi is doing such a good job at moving forward. She wants to pursue a career in entertainment so that her mother's legacy can live on.

Bobby Kristina would avoid Bobby Brown like the plague on his reality show "Being Bobby Brown," so it comes as no surprise that she wants to legally distance herself from her dad. Bobbi Kristina Brown wants to drop her first and last name and simply go by "Kristina Houston."

Bobbi K has wanted the name change ever since her parents got divorced, but Whitney wouldn't allow it.

Now that Whitney is no longer able to stand in her way, Bobbi Kristina is getting serious. It remains unclear when she plans to make the change official... Good for Bobbi, but, uh, I don't think people will stop calling her Bobbi Kristina Brown! Sucks when you're famous.

Bobbi Kristina, 19, will receive all of Whitney Houston's assets. Whitney left everything to her "surviving children" in her will. All of Whitney's furnishings, clothing, jewelry, cars and more will go to the daughter that she adored.

Houston's money will be put in a trust fund for Bobbi. She will receive some of the $20 million when she turns 21, another portion when she turns 25 and the rest when she turns 30.

Whitney's will was filed in Atlanta days ago. She signed it in 1993, one month before she gave birth to her only child, Bobbi.

Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, has been in the news almost as much as her mother recently, but she hasn’t spoken publicly yet. Bobbi Kristina will give her first interview on March 11th to Oprah, as part of the OWN network’s Oprah’s Next Chapter.

In addition to interviews with Whitney’s sister-in-law and manager Patricia Houston and her brother Gary Houston, the special will also let the late singer’s daughter “[share] personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered.”

Hopefully, this won’t be too stressful for the teenager, who had a nervous breakdown after her mother’s death and had to be hospitalized. It’s sure to be an emotional one-hour special, but that’s the name of Oprah and the name of the situation at hand.

The problem with trying to figure out the truth behind the death of Whitney Houston is that the singer had been famous for so long that she attracted plenty of the wrong kinds of people, but she had also been flying low on the radar as of late so we don't know who the good and bad influences in life were in her final years.

Leola Brown Interview

Bobby Brown's sister gave an interview yesterday in which she claimed that she and Whitney were so close they referred to one another as "soul sisters" (again, we have no way of knowing if that's true) and that she's as devastated by the loss as anyone in Whitney's immediate family. Okay, well it's nice that she was able to speak publicly about her grief...but then she keeps talking...

"I believe Whitney’s death was not accidental. No," Leola Brown said in an interview with Access Hollywood. She added that she couldn't provide details on her conspiracy theory, as he attorney had urged her not to.

Leola then cautioned Bobbi Kristina Brown that she is "not safe" and should trust no one but her father, grandmother and, of course, Leola. As the topping on the crazy sundae, Leola concludes by saying, "Bobby has nothing, nothing at all to do with Whitney’s death. [Whitney's] father said he was tired of people talking about his son-in-law. He said Bobby had nothin’ to do with Whitney doing drugs in the past or whatever."

Again, we knew nothing about this woman until today, but everything about her screams shady. Why did she hire a lawyer other than to grab a piece of the estate? Oh, and she really expects us to believe that Whitney's parents were just sick to death of people trashing Bobby Brown? Please.
