When America's Next Top Model producers had an open casting call in Manhattan, NY, on Saturday accepting applicants under 5'7 feet tall, a large fight erupted on the street.

Many more women appeared for auditions than producers expected. It's rumored that a smoking BMW irritated the crowd, someone was screaming about a gun, then a woman was slapped by a dude, which set things off. Three people were arrested, two were taken to the hospital and six were injured.

It's insane that so many possibly unemployed chicks are dying to be washed up has beens in a few months if they do actually become finalists or win this outdated show.

Remember how reports surfaced that Britney Spears' dancers had to pass drug tests? Well three of Brit Brit's Circus tour dancers have been fired for failing.

"I think (the fired dancers) just didn't expect to actually get tested. And drugs are just not okay so they had to go."

Spears' Circus tour will take in more than 40 dates and conclude in London on June 14th.

If Britney's dancers are going to be fired for failing drug tests, than Britney should be tested too. She could have given them the damn drugs for all anyone knows.

I don't agree with this at all. They train, they work hard, they're talented and they're performing dance routines like they've been doing for years. If their drugs don't affect their performance and they pose no risk to anyone, they should retain their jobs.

Why not just drug test all attendees at Spears' shows too! Papa Spears is crazy. You give a redneck a little power and he takes things to a whole other level. Brit needs to get custody of her kids and fire his ass from this conservatorship business. He's a total authoritarian, assholarian father! And she's a 27-year-old mother of two. She is grown.

You don't have to be a Miley Cyrus fan to recognize that she's scrutinized for everything. It's sad. This is ridiculous, Miley Cyrus was jogging, therefore her shirt was moving around, and the paps took photos of her cleavage during the brief moments that it was exposed.

The commentary on her outfit is very upsetting because this is one time Miley should be left alone, it's like she can't do anything right. As a woman with a D-cup who spent around 15 minutes last night trying to squeeze her boobs into a top without them looking like they're gonna burst out, when you have boobs, you have to put in extra effort to make sure they're not exposed. Had Miley been an A-cup, no one would be saying shit right now.

This is so disappointing! I just don't get it. How threatening or risque is the word "gay?" WTF? What should Oscar winners have said instead? If people can't say the word on television, I take it no one in these oppressed, homophobic communities wants to come out, either? This is all very sad. Harvey Milk didn't fight for this shit, and he should at least be honored by allowing Oscar winners to mention what it is exactly they have won their awards for!!!

Viewers in Asia saw a censored version of the Oscars after television chiefs removed gay references from Sean Penn's best actor speech.

The STAR satellite channel, which broadcasts to more than 300 million viewers in 53 countries, also cut the sound when Dustin Lane Black, who wrote the screenplay for Penn's film, Milk, addressed "all the gay and lesbian kids"

Gay Asians voiced their anger at the broadcaster, which censored its evening telecasts of the awards ceremony. "As a gay man, I am truly offended," Pang Khee Teik, a prominent Malaysian arts commentator, wrote in a letter sent out to several media organisations. "Stop censoring the words that describe who I am."

Pang said the move "sent a message … that gays and lesbians are still shameful things to be censored from the public's ears."

Users of Internet forums in Singapore and India also complained about the censored speeches. Jannie Poon, STAR's Hong Kong-based spokeswoman, stressed that the company had no intention of upsetting any viewers, but said it has "a responsibility to take the sensitivities and guidelines of all our markets into consideration."

I know I'm a little late on this story, but better late than never. As An African-American, I'm outraged by the New York Post's blatant, disgusting racism. I am also not surprised. Racism will not vanish just because Barack Obama has been elected. Thank you, John Legend, for speaking out against it when you see it. That takes balls and intellect, something he has both of. I've already been exposed to the intellect, now show me what you workin' wit! Here goes it:

Dear Editor,

I'm trying to understand what possible motivation you may have had for publishing that vile cartoon depicting the shooting of the chimpanzee that went crazy. I guess you thought it would be funny to suggest that whomever was responsible for writing the Economic Recovery legislation must have the intelligence and judgment of a deranged, violent chimpanzee, and should be shot to protect the larger community. Really?

Did it occur to you that this suggestion would imply a connection between President Barack Obama and the deranged chimpanzee? Did it occur to you that our President has been receiving death threats since early in his candidacy? Did it occur to you that blacks have historically been compared to various apes as a way of racist insult and mockery? Did you intend to invoke these painful themes when you printed the cartoon?

If that's not what you intended, then it was stupid and willfully ignorant of you not to connect these easily connectable dots.

If it is what you intended, then you obviously wanted to be grossly provocative, racist and offensive to the sensibilities of most reasonable Americans. Either way, you should not have printed this cartoon, and the fact that you did is truly reprehensible. I can't imagine what possible justification you have for this.

I've read your lame statement in response to the outrage you provoked. Shame on you for dodging the real issue and then using the letter as an opportunity to attack Rev. Sharpton. This is not about Rev. Sharpton. It's about the cartoon being blatantly racist and offensive.

I believe in freedom of speech, and you have every right to print what you want. But freedom of speech still comes with responsibilities and consequences. You are responsible for printing this cartoon, and I hope you experience some real consequences for it.

I'm personally boycotting your paper and won't do any interviews with any of your reporters, and I encourage all of my colleagues in the entertainment business to do so as well. I implore your advertisers to seriously reconsider their business relationships with you as well.

You should print an apology in your paper acknowledging that this cartoon was ignorant, offensive and racist and should not have been printed.

I'm well aware of our country's history of racism and violence, but I truly believe we are better than this filth. As we attempt to rise above our difficult past and look toward a better future, we don't need the New York Post to resurrect the images of Jim Crow to deride the new administration and put black folks in our place.

Please feel free to criticize and honestly evaluate our new President, but do so without the incendiary images and rhetoric.

Nicky Hilton was an alleged battery victim yesterday and the suspect was arrested.

It happened at 5:00 AM outside the IHOP in West Hollywood.

Law enforcement sources tell us a male transient pushed her to the ground. Nicky got up and promptly made a citizen's arrest. Someone called the cops and the suspect was arrested.

He probably thought her bony ass was Paris and he was just tryna to do what everyone would want him to. Who says transients can't make positive contributions to society?
