Adam does not need MTV, nor any MTV Awards. He owns the WORLD STAGE. His scope is broader than MTV. He can not be confined in that box called MTV, that award sometimes mediocre talents and some distressed artists mired in drugs and alcohol. Why define himself with such awards?
Adam may not just have fitted in the MTV society's standard of decorum and propriety, but it doesn't diminish his MUSIC and ARTISTRY.
ADAM is here to stay and will be a legend in the music industry. He just need to take his time. Awards are meaningless if they confine you, and Adam is a free spirit. His music even frees our spirit. We are BROKEN OPEN when we own up to our imperfections, and Adam had shown us the way.

he is a really good singer but not a good musician.. he's putting away the opportunity to be appreciated thus to have a long career in music when he's so focused on what he wants and who he is that he wants other people to see.. i think he needs to re-evaluate his personal choices.. he can be elton john (poor choice, but an okay comparison) his music was greatly appreciated by millions, and that was never (or seldom or often) tainted by the fact that he is gay - he is respected as a musician..

I've never felt like ok he's gay and we should hate him, WHY? why do some people think that way? Because these are common feelings that everyone has. There some facts that never relate to other. Some private facts i think. Ok he's gay but why do you say he's a bad guy ? (In general) the only thing that we should care is to support our stars. He's got a great voice style whatever... If we dont care and just think about some nonsense we will lose these stars in future. I don't know if Adam himself actually reads these things, but if so, he should know, and probably already does know, that his talent exceeds that of so many other people, and I pitty those who believe that a different lifestyle can change that. How can anyone hate a person so much when they've never met them? The media is a hoax. Adam is the real deal. He could be a murderer, but that will not make his voice faulter. We are quick to judge others, yet forget that there is no one on earth who can consider themself perfect. What is love? This question has a different answer to each individual. It is our hearts we should be listening to. Adams heart seems a lot purer than most, and we should honor that. All in all, kudos for Adam, and sorrow for those who use his personality to determine his skill.
