Adam Levine is the sexy singer-songwriter and womanizer of soulful pop rock band Maroon 5. Born in Los Angeles to two Jewish parents, Adam Levine has been playing basketball since he was a child. He even made the winning shot at his local YMCA championship basketball game when he was only seven years old. Adam says that his lucky shot turned him "into an optimist... and a bit of a cocky son of a bitch."
That was way before Adam was a teenager. The Maroon 5 frontman has said that he had horrible acne as a young man and would keep his back turned to the audience when he would perform.
Adam attended Frenchwoods Festival of the Performing Arts Camp (Hancock, NY), where he met the original members of the band Kara's Flowers: Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden and Ryan Dusick. Levine did not have a bar mitzvah, saying he did not feel like it would have been "honest."
Adam wrote Maroon 5's debut album Songs About Jane about his ex-girlfriend. They made up in 2007 and remain "close friends." Knowing Adam, they're still having sex.
The confident crooner also has a "car fetish" and loves cars. The thin sex symbol also bronke his sternum lifting weights in 2006. He still lifts weights, but he uses spotters.
