Brittany Murphy is the fun-loving actress and recording artist of some of the most popular films of the past decade. Brittany Murphy has starred in films such as Clueless, Girl, Interrupted, 8 Mile, Sin City, Uptown Girls, Riding in Cars with Boys and much more. She is also a very talented singer.
Brittany's father, Angelo Bertolottis is a convicted mobster! And her parents are of Irish and Eastern European descent. Her father is an Italian American.
She was raised Baptist and attended a Lutheran school.
When she was only nine, her powerful voice landed her a singing role in the musical Les Miserables. Brittany got her first television gig when she was 14 and she hasn't slowed down since!
Brittany tragically died of full cardiac arrest on December 20, 2009. She will be sorely missed.
