Cassie is a pop singer-songwriter, dancer and occasional music video actress. Her parents are African-American, Mexican and West Indian.

The gorgeous singer co-wrote her biggest hit "Me&U" and her self-titled debut album Cassie was released on August 8, 2006. The thin singer has received harsh criticism for singing absolutely horribly whenever performing live!

Unlike most artists signed to P.Diddy's label, Diddy has defended Cassie. Cassie is rumored to be P.Diddy's girlfriend, or woman on the side.

Cassie began modeling at 19 and has done work for Seventeen magazine, Adidas, Abercrombie & Fitch and has filmed a Clean and Clear commercial.

She has also appeared in dance film Step Up 2 the Streets and has received mixed reviews for her performance.
