Charice Pempengo, 18, and her team have come under fire after the young Filipino singer was filmed getting Botox injections and having a skin-tightening procedure.

Bio

Charice, real name Charmaine Clarice Relucio Pempengco, is a Filipina singer who grew up poor and was raised by a single mother. Oprah has called Charice "the Most Talented Girl in the World."

Charice is also the first Asian in history to land in the Top 10 of Billboard's 200 album chart. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She began entering singing competitions at the age of 7 and competed on the Philippines version of American Idol, called "Little Big Star." She finished in the 3rd slot and in 2007 her YouTube videos went viral, launching her into superstardom a few years later.
