Chris Daughtry is one of the most successful American Idol contestants who didn't win the title. Chris Daughtry is a singer-songwriter and guitarist who was the fourth-place finalist on Idol. He's now the lead vocalist of alternative rock band Daughtry.

Chris' self-titled debut album was the fastest selling debut rock album in history! Not bad.

Chris was working as a Service Advisor at a Crown Honda dealership in Greensboro, North Carolina at the time he auditioned for American Idol. Thank god he did.
