Chris Evans Bio
Chris Evans is the crazy-ripped young actor best known for playing the title role in the 2011 film Captain America: The First Avenger, and for his portrayal of The Human Torch in the two god-awful, but popular Fantastic Four films. Prior to breaking through by playing iconic superheroes, Chris struggled for years, forced to take small roles in sometimes terrible movies. If you didn't catch him in Cellular or Street Kings, nobody blames you, including Chris Evans. Chris' humility and self-deprecating sense of humor have helped endear him to critics and audiences alike. In a recent interview, he revealed that he's losing his hair and joked that the world may have to get used to the idea of a bald Captain America.
Hopefully, Chris holds on to his blond crop for a little while longer. He's already scheduled to reprise his role as the patriotic hero at least once more in 2012's much-anticipated, The Avengers, and he recently landed a gig as the new face of Gucci. Chris' career is just beginning to take off, and he's got one of the brightest futures in young Hollywood. Thus far, Chris has managed to stay under the radar with regard to his personal life, but don't be surprised if he starts making his way through the list of available young starlets in the near future.
