Adam Michael Goldstein, aka DJ AM, was born March 30, 1973 in Philadelphia, PA.
DJ AM used to be a member of the band Crazy Town, best known for their hit 'Butterfly'. Adam has worked on albums for Papa Roach, Madonna, Will Smith, and Jay-Z among others.
DJ Am was involved in a plane crash with Blink 182 drummer, Travis Barker, in 2008, and they were the only two survivors. He suffered from burns on his hands and part of his head but made a full recovery. AM dated Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore.
Adam was found dead in his apartment on August 28, 2009. Speculation looms that his death was caused by a drug overdose.
