Drew Peterson is a former Bolingbrook, Illinois, police sergeant who has finally been charged with murdering his third wife, Kathleen Savio. He is also the prime suspect in the disappearance of his fourth wife, Stacy Peterson.
Drew has made many televised appearances including various segments on The Today Show where he has repeatedly bad mouth Stacy Peterson, claiming that she ran off with some lover!
As a grieving or concerned husband, it was always inappropriate for him to trash talk his "missing" wife. He also complained that the media were stressing him out and he's lost a lot of weight as a result. Boohoo!
Drew had a 29-year career as a policeman and retired in December 2007 following Stacy's October 28 disappearance.
He collects a $6,067.71 pension every month.
Peterson had been fired for misconduct in conducting an unauthorized investigation dealing with drug dealers, but was reinstated and not convicted of any wrong-doing
Drew Peterson had an April 11, 2008 appearance on Larry King Live where he only answered questions that his lawyer approved. His lawyer was also present for his interview.
