Ethan Hawke is an actor, writer and director. Ethan's breakout role was in Dead Poets Society. He's appeared in many films since then and got divorced from Uma Thurman after he cheated on her.

Ethan was raised by his mother. 

Hawke wanted to be a writer throughout high school but chose acting. Good move!
