Gerard Butler Bio

Gerard Butler is a Scottish actor well known for playing King Leonidas in 300. Butler's parents divorced and he had no further contact with his father until he was 16 years old. When Buttler was 22, his father died of cancer.

Gerard graduated from the School of Law at Glasgow University before pursuing stage plays.

He sounds conceited and annoying. Gerard allegedly prefers that everyone calls him Jerry cause he told Jay Leno he doesn't like the way Americans pronounce "Gerard."
