Heidi Klum Bio

Heidi Klum is a German-American model, television host, fashion designer, television producer and actress.

She is known for being a Victoria's Secret Angel and hostess of Emmy Award-nominated Project Runway and Germany's Next Top Model.

In 1992 Heidi competed with 25,000 contestants in a "Model 92" contest. Ms Klum won the contest and a modeling contract worth $300,000 by Metropolitan Models of New York!

As the winner, she appeared on Gottschalk Late Night Show, a top German television show. She then pursued an apprentice position at a fashion school.

Klum has been seen on most well-known fashion magazines including the coveted Vogue, ELLE and Marie Claire. She became widely known after gracing a Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover and for her work as a Victoria's Secret "Angel."

She has also been a spokesmodel for McDonald's, Braun, H&M, Liz Claiborne, Volkswagen and more.

In 1997 Heidi married stlist Ric Ric Pipino; the couple divorced in 2002. She also had brief relationships with Red Hot Chili Pepper Anthony Kiedis and Formula-1 mogul Flavio Briatore.

In the autumn of 2003, Klum announced she was pregnant with Briatore's child. On the day she announced her prego status, Briatore was photographed kissing Fiona Swarovski, a jewelry heiress. Ouch! Klum and Briatore broke up shortly thereafte and she gave birth to daughter Leni Klum on May 4, 2004.

While Heidi was still pregnant, she began a relationship with musician Seal. Klum and Seal married on May 10, 2005. They have two children together, sons: Henry Günther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, born September 12, 2005  and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel born November 22, 2006.
