Hulk Hogan is a semi-retired professional wrestler, actor, and television personality.
He is an iconic figure in professional wrestling history. He joined the World Wrestling Federation in 1979 and has maintained industry visibility ever since.
Hulk became a star through live events and pay-per-view television matches. His career also got an early boost from an appearance with Sylvester Stallone in the classic flick Rocky III (1983).
It is Hulk's brown skin and bleached blond hair and thick mustache that make him a standout. By the late '80s "Hulkmania" was born and he headlined Wrestlemania events and appeared on various talk shows and networks.
Hogan has secured five heavyweight titles between 1984 and 1993.
He earned six additional heavyweight titles in 1994-99.
In 2005, his family reality show Hogan Knows Best premiered on Vh1. In 2008 he served as the host of NBC's revived American Gladiators series.
