Record producer and occasional rapper Jermaine Dupri got his first big gig in the music industry when he discovered the duo Kriss Kross in an Atlanta, Georgia mall.

Jermaine moved on to hit artists such as Mariah Carey and Usher. The short mogul is also a Grammy winning songwriter.

Jermaine is the head of Island Records' urban division and continues to work with various artists. He was dating Janet Jackson for 7 years before the two split.
