I watched jon and kate since the show started. I watched as they slowly declined and am not shocked that tlc either canceled the show or will cancel it. I t is no longer real. It use to be real life how families really live. Kate use to be cheap and now she lives like a millionaire. Jon acts like a total jerk. He cares more about being free then his own 8 kids. It is the kids I feel sorry for. Sorry kate but you are no movie star. And for the dogs. Kate you made the decision to get them now that the newness has worn off you guys don't want them anymore. Stop thinking of yourselves and put your kids first. The didn't ask to come into this world and they should be yours and jon's first priority. All jon talks about is new york city. Big thrills. The kids must be so confused although you both deny it. Stop both of you being selfish think of those eight kids and believe me money doesn't buy love or happiness.

I personally love and enjoy the show. I know and understand what people mean when they say that they dislike Kate’s personality. But honestly I think that she shouldn’t ever change because we all have personalities. I’m glad she is who she is even in front of the camera. Where many would collapse and just show the pretty side, they show a woman with 8 children of course their will eventually be situations where she would brake and yell…..or feel that John was just not doing enough at that moment. I have no children and yet I have felt that she is so right. Because there is many things that if you have common sense than you would understand. Just like when certain things need to get done, or when you need your significant other to step into place……….Because I have lived the whole married life. I’m sad to know that her and John are now divorced. I know a divorce can be hard. From my side it was hard and yet I didn’t have 8 children, it was just me and that was it and ye

I've seen the show and I think that Kate is bitch, he's not perfect no one is but she did belittle him alot on T.V. I mean I had never seen the show and some of the things she would say or the faces she made on camera when talking with her husband even I noticed that she is a bitch to him and I thought I was controlling OMG she tops me 20 times over. This show is about her making money this isn't about family anymore. Get a real job and stop using you kids

John was happy with two kids. Kate insisted on trying again and they had the other 6. From day one she treated John progressively worse on the show. She criticized John's every move including how he was breathing one day. I think one morning John woke up and felt trapped and decided he wanted out and he broke away. It didn't help that Kate traveled so much last year and there was rumor that she said he could do what he wanted and had some kind of a contract for him to sign. He called her bluff and she lost. I used to really like her and understood why she was so controlling and obnoxious and then I despised her. Now I feel sorry for her because she drove away a good man and there she is with 8 kids while he is traveling the world with a young chick. Be careful what you wish for.

She seemed to have many breaks and he was micromanaged and treated like one of the kids rather than a man and respected as a father. I can't say that I blame him...now she is making nice with the camera to save her livelyhood...its pretty sad. I thought they were going to make it until she started disrespecting him on camera and looking to the crew for reinforcement or validation. I won't watch it ever again. It is nice that the kids won't grow up in poverty and on the public dole, however.

I'm not going to apologize about what I earlier said & with saying that, it's a total shame they did get divorced but the reason for this particular divorce is Jon never wanted it to become as large as it was whereas Kate loved the short-lived stardom. Kate is the one to blame for this family breaking up. Enough said.

I totally agree with you. As a young mother I agree that you need the spa time, I couldn't even picture doing what I am doing times eight. That woman deserves a break to the spa, as Jon does to the slopes, why are we so critical to these people? They are normal, they are trying to make this work and give their kids a comfortable lifestyle, eight kids is expensive, hell 1 is! She needs the vacation time, and the time with one kid or away from them all. She's a good mom, now if the allegations of cheating are true, Kate you made me(and all others defending you) look like a dumbass, but I hope that they are false. Take a break from the cameras, couple months then come back and be like look at us, we're happy, healthy and together and this is what you missed......You guys are great!

I'm sorry but I totally disagree with you about Kate Gosselin. She is not exploiting her kids. They seem to be very comfortable and outgoing in front of the cameras and having them participate in a reality show has given them opportunities in their childhoold they might not have had otherwise. Jon and Kate have found a unique and creative way to support their family in what appears to be a very comfortable lifestyle. They should be commended for having put it all together and handling it as well as they have. Most marriages could not withstand the kind of microscopic scrutiny theirs has. I hope they are able to put it all in persepective and hold it together for the sake of the kids.
As for the spa treatments: Leave it to a man to criticize her about her spa treatments. Every young mother longs for an occasional break from caring for children. It doesn't mean they're bad moms or that they don't love their children. If she has an opportunity to get a spa treatment, more po

Ever since about maybe 6 months ago, I was one of the early ones (I think) who has said Kate Gosselin is a bitch. In regards to the actual family, I believe (know) Kate is milking her unfortunate kids for everything they're worth. But of course I know they're going to need money sometime in their lives, though what's the deal with Kate going to spas for instance? It doesn't matter to me but Kate Gosselin got herself struck with stardom. It's a shame, she's got 8 kids so they should be more important than anything in her life because her KIDS won't be kids much longer.
