Katherine Heigl is an Emmy Award-winning actress best known for playing Izzie Stevens on Grey's Anatomy and her lead roles in Knocked Up and 27 Dresses.
Katherine Heigl also starred in Roswell but that was back when she was pretty chubby. The star is also of German and Irish ancestry and was raised as a Mormon!
When Katherine was nine she had her photos sent to modeling agency and folks liked her looks! Katherine was earning $75 an hour posing for Sears and Lord & Taylor catalogs. She also appeared in a Cheerios commercial.
Katherine made her big screen debut in the 1992 movie That Night. She went on to continue in many other movies and continued modeling, appearing in mags such as Seventeen.
Surprisingly Katherine dated Joey Lawrence in 1994! She also dated her Roswell costar Jason Behr during the run of the series. Katherine married singer Josh Kelly on December 23, 2007.
