Katie Stevens is the Portuguese 16 year-old high school student who blew American Idol judges and fans away with her soulful rendition of Etta James' song, "At Last."

Katie was crowned Outstanding Teen by the Greater Watertown Scholarship Pageant. The Connecticut-based committee honored Katie's commitment to volunteerism. Katie's very touching story was also featured on American Idol. She's very close with her grandmother who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

Katie is posed to make it to the top 10 of American Idol's season 9, hopefully. She has the pipes and the personality that may take her a long way!
