Kris Allen is the handsome singer-songwriter who won the eight season of American Idol in one of the biggest upsets in reality television history! Two years before competing on American Idol, Kristopher Allen released his first album, Brand New Shoes.
At the age of 13, Kris taught himself how to play the guitar. He can also play the piano, viola and the ukulele. Kris songs from his debut album have been widely distributed since he competed on the most popular reality show on television.
Allen is a devout Christian who has done missionary work in Burma, Morocco, Mozambique, South Africa, Spain and Thailand.
Kris married his wife Katy O'Connel Allen on September 26, 2008, and you can tell that he'll be faithful to her. I wonder if he waited until marriage to bust a nut?
Anyway, congrats to Kris. We can't wait to hear his new music.
