Lea Michele is an Italian and Spanish-Sephardic Jewish singer, stage and television actress best known for playing Rachel Berry on Fox's hit show, Glee.

Lea began belting it out as a child actor in Broadway musical Les Miserables. She appeared in many musicals before finally making it onto the silver screen.

Lea has received a Golden Globe nomination for playing Rachel on Glee. She's already received a Satellite Award for her portrayal. Well deserved! It's not easy to pretend to be ridiculously upbeat and obnoxious every week.
