Lily Allen is an English singer-songwriter. She has talent in her blood. The daughter of actor/musician Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen, the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Lily also hosted her own BBC Three talk show Lily Allen and Friends.

Her single "Smile" went #1 on the UK Singles Chart in July 2006. In December 2006, her debut album Alright, Still was voted the third best album of the year by Mixmag. Her popularity is international and she has a strong dedicated fanbase in the States. She also has a love/hate relationship with the most popular gossip blogger in the states and she has lashed out against Amy Wino, Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry and Elton John.

Known for not holding back, Lily has said that some people "are just bad at doing drugs" and has frequently expressed her penchant for cocaine. She has also shown up intoxicated while presenting a GQ award to Elton John in September 2008. Her and Elton John reportedly had a heated exchange.

A second album entitled It's Not Me, It's You was released in the UK on 9 February 2009 and the United States on 10 February 2009. It's Not Me, It's You had a #1 debut in the UK.

Although Allen's show was widely popular, Lily Allen and Friends was not renewed for a second season.
