Lindsay Lohan is a talented actress and a pop singer. The former Disney darling has been in show business since she was only three years old, appearing in dozens of TV ads including a Jell-O pudding spot with Bill Cosby. She was a Ford model client and also landed commercials for the Gap, Pizza Hut, Wendy's and more. Lindsay's signature dark red-hair and freckles to spare were absolutely adorable.

But as Lindsay got older, her life began to unravel. The daughter of not one, but two, stage parents took its toll as the talented actress sought to live without rules and allegedly consumed drugs on a frequent basis.

In 2004 LiLo starred in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. Desiring to break into the music industry, she contributed two songs to its soundtrack. She began pulling in big box office numbers and landed a role in Tina Fey's Mean Girls. The film was widely successful and she hosted the 2004 MTV Movie Awards and won an award for Female Breakout Star.

Her debut album, Speak, was released in December of 2004. While she continued her relationship with Disney, filming a remake of Herbie: Fully Loaded, tabloid rumors spread about everything from her health and love life (she has dated a large percentage of the men in the States) to her late-night partying and allegedly showing up late on-set.

Her album was not successful, and by the end of 2005 she was perceived as a full fledged trainwreck. She released her second album, A Little More Personal (Raw) and her loyal fanbase didn't give up on her. It was certified gold early in 2006.

Lohan was arrested on May 26, 2007, for suspicion of driving under the influence and a subsequent stay at Malibu, CA's Promises Treatment Center.

She has been in rehab three times and her latest film, Labor Pains, will be released on television only. Her nearly 2-year romance with DJ Samantha Ronson ended in April 2009 after the LAPD were called and had to appear at Sam's home on several occasions.

Her relationship with her father Michael Lohan is estranged. Arguably, the public's relationship with the former shining star is identical to that of her relations with her father.
