Matthew Knowles is the father of singer Beyonce and Solange Knowles. He was born in Gadsden, Alabama on January 9, 1951. Matthew began the girl group Girl's Tyme which later turned into Destiny's Child. He has acted as producer to many projects and was executive producer of the 2009 movie Obsessed with also stars his daughter Beyonce.
He is has been married to Tina Knowles for almost 30 years but was just hit with a paternity suit by a woman who claims she is pregnant with his baby.

Beyonce's father, Mathew Knowles has been hit with a paternity suit by a woman claiming she's pregnant with his child. Alexsandra Wright, who is 6 months pregnant, filed the suit last week.
