Bio

Michelle LaVaughn Robinson Obama is the first African-American First Lady of the United States.

Michelle Obama was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. She often mentions her humble beginnings in various interviews and appearances.

The Princeton University and Harvard Law School. grad held a position at the Sidley Austin law firm in Chicago where she first met her future husband Mr. President Barack Obama. Subsequently, she worked as a staff member for Chicago mayor Richard M. Daley and for the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Throughout 2007 and 2008, Michelle was seen on the campaign trail giving passionate speeches in support of her husband. She is the mother of two daughters, Sasha and Malia, and is the sister of Craig Robinson, men's basketball coach at Oregon State University.

Michelle's fashion choices are glamorous and affordable. She is often seen in J.Crew and favors American designers. She also loves to bare her perfectly toned arms.

President Barack Obama adores her, little children love her, the Queen of England told her to keep in touch ... she's on the right track to being a very popular and globally respected First Lady.
