Michelle Williams

Bio

Michelle Williams was born in Kalispell, Montana on September 9, 1980 and moved to San Diego, California, when she was nine.

Michelle graced the screens in 1994 when she had a role in Lassie, but she’s most remembered for her role as Jen Lindley on Dawson’s Creek

Williams met Heath Ledger while playing his wife in the hit movie Brokeback Mountain and the two were together for three years. During that time they had a little girl together, Matilda Rose Ledger.

Michelle and Heath split in 2007.  Heath was found dead in his apartment in January of 2008 and Michelle released a statement regarding his passing: “Please respect our need to grieve privately. My heart is broken. I am the mother of the most tender-hearted, high-spirited, beautiful little girl who is the spitting image of her father. All that I can cling to is his presence inside her that reveals itself every day. His family and I watch Matilda as she whispers to trees, hugs animals, and takes steps two at a time and we know that he is with us still. She will be brought up with the best memories of him."
