Miley Cyrus is a singer, actress and best-selling author. She is most famously known for starring as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana in Disney TV series Hannah Montana. After the show's debut in March 2006, the young singer was an overnight success.
Born Destiny Hope Cyrus, Miley has legally changed her name to Miley. She was given the name Smiley as a baby because she would smile all the time. The name Miley has followed her all throughout childhood and adolescence.
She has had a successful segue into the big screen with 2008's Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert and her 2009 movie titled Hannah Montana: The Movie. Miley's whiny voice could be heard in all the trailers as she sings the movie's main single, "The Climb."
In 2008, Cyrus was listed among artists and entertainers as one of Time magazine's 100 Most Influential People in The World. Forbes magazine has also ranked the teen at #35 on "The Celebrity 100" list with earnings of over US$25 million in 2008.
In October 2006 a soundtrack CD was released in which she sang eight songs from her show. Her solo career officially began on June 23, 2007 with the release of her debut solo album, Meet Miley Cyrus. Her second album Breakout dropped on July 22, 2008. Breakout is Cyrus's first album that does not involve the Hannah Montana franchise!
Both of Miley's discs debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. She's a hardworking little lady! In 2008 Miley eleased her Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert film which had the highest-grossing opening weekend for a film to be released under 1000 theatres.
She also provided a voice for Disney's animated feature Bolt and recorded "I Thought I Lost You" for the soundtrack for which she earned a Golden Globe nomination!
She also has her very own wax figure, but there's more to Miley Cyrus than her television show and her music, her love life is also complicated.
She dated Jonas brother Nick Jonas for two years and says that they were both "in love." They broke up at the end of 2007 and she's currently dating model Justin Gaston, 20. Miley continues to say that she's waiting until marriage to have sex. Where have I heard this from another Disney star before? Hmmm....

i so am not a big fan of miley or anything disney i am a fan of twilight i love the books,soundtrack,posters and lots more and i cant wait till the second twilight movie called new moon comes out in cinemas have you seen the fan made posters and trailers they are so cool the thing i am mostly worried about is if the jonas brothers are making a song for the new moon soundtrack someone told me they are lol.TEAM EDWARD
