Mindy McCready is a country music singer who has recorded Top Ten hits such as 'Ten Thousand Angels' and A Girl's Gotta Do (What a Girl's Gotta Do). It's been a while since she has released a single, but that's not keeping her out of the spotlight.
In 2005 Mindy's ex-boyfriend Billy McKnight was arrested and charged with attempted murder after beating and choking McCready. Two months later Mindy was found unconcious in a hotel room after taking a large amount of drugs and alcohol in a suicide attempt.
Mindy appeared in the third season of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew and seems to be doing well with keeping sober. She is now trying to stop a sex tape starring herself and an ex-boyfriend named 'Peter' from being released. She claims the tape was stolen from her home three years ago.
