Mischa Barton Bio

Mischa Barton is a film, television and stage actress. She began acting at the young age of eight, co-starring in the off Broadway premiere of Slavs!

She appeared in several other off Broadway productions before transitioning to film. She won awards at film festivals around the world for her big screen debut Lawn Dogs.

She also appeared in films, such as The Sixth Sense, Notting Hill, St Trinians, and Closing the Ring. 

Mischa first appeared on television in 1996 on All My Children. Since then she's done work for television series Once and Again, Fastlane and Fox's The O.C. She's also appeared in James Blunt's "Goodbye My Lover" music video and Enrique Iglesias' "Addicted" video.

The OC premiered in 2003 and Mischa was killed off during the third season in May 2006. Ratings dropped dramatically during the third and fourth season of the Fox show.

Mischa has done some modeling work, which she is perfect for since she's tall and slender.

Mischa Barton was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, and driving without a valid license on December 27, 2007.

Since her DUI arrest, Mischa's career has been moving at a slow place. She has also moved to London.
