Patrick Stump Bio

Fall Out Boy lead singer, Patrick Stump, was born April 27, 1984 and raised in Glenview Illinois. Patrick began his music career as a drummer for a few different bands in Chicago before ending up with FOB.

He was originally suppose to be the drummer but once his voice range was revealed, he ended up being the lead singer. Patrick writes most of the music for the band while Pete Wentz writes the lyrics.

Patrick has produced music with other bands such as Gym Glass Heroes, and Cobra Starship and is also a contributing writer for Rolling Stone where he reviews albums.
