Pia Toscano is a former American Idol contestant who was favored to win season 10.

Pia is Italian and began performing when she was only 4 years old.

She has won the New York Mets annual "Anthem Search" competition in 2008 and has opened for the Barenaked Ladies and performed with Josh Groban at Madison Square Garden.

Pia was working as a make-up artist and a wedding singer before trying out for American Idol.

She has signed a record contract with Interscope Records. We're interested to find out where her talent will take her!
