Pink is a two-time Grammy-winning singer-songwriter and overall badass.
Her first single "There You Go" from her R&B disc, Can't Take Me Home, garnered commercial success and a strong fanbase. During the early stages of her thriving career, Pink kept her hair color pink and she was LaFace records' little puppet. R&B was not the direction that she wanted to go, according to the talented artist.
Pink was also a rebellious child and had her fair share of drug use while growing up.
Her second album, a pop-rock effort, Missundaztood, released in 2001 has been her top seller to date. The album featured "Get The Party Started," "Just Like a Pill" and "Don't Let Me Get Me." It marked the shift in her sound of her music and fans ate it up.
Pink's third album Try This had disappointing sales, as it should! The cd sucked horribly! Her fourth album I'm Not Dead was critically acclaimed but it, too, did not make sweet love to the Billbaord charts.
Pink's most current album, Funhouse, released in October 2008, gave the fiery artist her very first number one hit song with the catchy "So What." Funhouse has been certified platinum in the U.S. and has sold over 3.5 million copies worldwide.
In her personal life, Pink met professional motocross racer Carey Hart in 2001 and she proposed to him in 2005 by holding up a "Will you marry me?" sign at his pit boarding races in Mammoth Lakes, California. Awwwww!
They married in Costa Rica on January 7, 2006 and announced their split on February 19, 2008. The two have currently reconciled and their divorce was never finalized, so they are all set.
Pink is at the top of her game and she's also never looked hotter. Can't wait to hear more of her work in the future.
