She has worked without a license and was caught. Ruhama paid fines and one of the counts was dismissed. She has also applied for a license with the Florida Department of Business and Professional regulation to be a real estate broker.
She was married in 1994 to David Hope Norton but she divorced him two years later. The couple had one child.
