Scotty McCreery won season 10 of 'American Idol' this week, but season 9 winner Lee DeWyze wasn't on hand to pass the torch, per tradition. 'Idol' producers imply that Lee snubbed the show, but the former champ claims he wasn't invited on stage til the last minute.

Bio

Scotty McCreery is the 17 year-old singer who recently became the tenth 'American Idol' champion. Hailing from a small town in North Carolina, Scotty is the youngest 'Idol' champion in history and, many believe, one of the most talented. Scotty got his musical start impersonating Elvis as a toddler. Though he may appear to be a quiet country boy, Scotty demonstrated his sharp wit several times throughout the last season of 'Idol.' When he confirmed he had Puerto Rican ancestry, he quickly added, "There's a little bit of J. Lo in me," and when judge Steven Tyler remarked that he looked like Alfred E. Neuman, Scorry instantly replied, "What, me worry?" With his unmistakable bass voice and endearing personality, it's safe to say we can expect big things from Scotty McCreery.
