Uma Thurman is the Academy Award-nominated actress that we think is fierce. Now. But things weren't so easy for Ms. Thurman while she was growing up.

By the age of 13, Uma was 5'10. She is 6 feet tall and has large feet and a prominent nose. While growing up, Uma was teased a lot. Luckily she was driven and confident enough to pursue acting.
