The singer, songwriter, actress, record producer and film producer has one of the best voice of all time. She is even referred to as "The Voice" and her song "I Will Always Love You" from the movie The Bodyguard is the reason why the soundtrack is the best-selling of all time.
Whitney is one of the first African American female artists to receive heavy airtime on MTV it its early years, even when MTV mostly played white male rock music.
