There have been reports over the weekend about Patrick Swayze’s pancreatic cancer spreading to his liver and a separate report about him telling all his loved ones goodbye as they bawled their eyes out. Rumors like this show what an ugly place the world can be and how heartless tabloid writers are. “I’m very proud of the work I’ve done on my new series The Beast, and I am happy to be back home for the holidays. It’s a great feeling of accomplishment to say you’re gonna do something and do it.
“The only thorn in my side being that many tabloids have been consistently reporting lies and false information about me and those close to me. And latest, they’re reporting that I’m on my last legs and saying goodbye to my tearful family!
“Pancreatic cancer is an aggressive disease and from the moment I was diagnosed, I knew I was in for the fight of my life. It’s a battle, and so far, I’ve been winning. I’m one of the lucky few that responds well to treatment.
“It’s upsetting that the shoddy and reckless reporting from these publications cast a negative shadow on the positive and good fight I’m fighting. For me, my family, and those close to me, it amounts to downright emotional cruelty. That makes me angry when hope is so precious.
“As always, I appreciate all the love and support people have sent and continue to send my way. I thank you.”

Britney Spears worked it today on Good Morning America for her “Womanizer” performance. This Britney Spears performance was much better than her performances from over the weekend. This is how you launch a comeback. Britney was into it and it showed. The granny panties? I blame Katy Perry. Her body would look hotter if her belly button was showing, but the boots do help. Great job overall.
I cancelled my Verizon wireless chip the other week, which is very exciting. I pay way too much for that shit and there’s free Wi-Fi in lots of places. Anyway, I used to update POTP from Starbucks, but they’re ghetto and only give 2 free hours a day now that I don’t have my Wi-Fi chip.
So I’m currently at Panera Bread because I wanted to get out the house. I also went to the Corner Bakery Cafe, but their internet connection was wonky. I don’t believe in paying for internet service because I believe it’s un-American to do so. Should un and American have a hyphen? Anyway, I also wanted to say that I may have up to 4 Britney Spears posts today. Circus drops today, I have Britney pics and such to post, and I’ve always been on Team Britney. Haters keep hating.
Jennifer Hudson’s estranged brother-in-law, William Balfour, was arrested Monday in the slayings of the Oscar winner’s mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew, according to Chicago police.
Formal charges have not yet been brought by the Cook County prosecutor’s office, but Balfour was transferred from an Illinois state prison – where he has been held on suspicion of a parole violation – back into police custody, says police spokeswoman Monique Bond.
Balfour, 27, who is separated from Hudson’s sister, Julia, was arrested in the first-degree murders of Hudson’s mother Darnell Donerson, 57, brother Jason Hudson, 29, and his own stepson, Julian King, 7.
The bodies of Donerson and Hudson were found shot to death Oct. 24.
The body of King, Julia’s son, was found three days later in the backseat of Jason’s abandoned Chevrolet Suburban parked 10 miles from the family’s home. All died from gunshot wounds.
The young uns in Texas best be fixin to stay in school, because a judge wants to strap up truant students to monitoring devices. The children could be tracked “24 hours a days, seven days a week.”
Brazos County Justice of the Peace Tommy Munoz has requested an opinion from the Texas Attorney General’s Office regarding the legality of a pilot program for truancy.
Munoz announced his plans for the program in September. The program would put electronic monitoring devices on students who skip class too often.
In September, Munoz said, “We’re just going to try and see what it does, how it does and it may not work here, we’ll just take it a day at a time.”
Failure to attend school is a misdemeanor in Texas. Munoz says that once the program gets approval, the monitoring devices would be ordered. They cost $2,000 each and he says the truant students’ folks may have to foot the bill.
According to Munoz, the monitoring device would be an alternative to sending a kid to a juvenile delinquent program. Plus “it may also serve to deter future criminality.”
This is bullshizzle. However, thus far the ordinance does not allow for consistent electronic monitoring, a measure reserved for stalkers, house arrest folk and criminals considered to be a flight risk.
