Adam Levine: ‘If You Don’t Get Married, You Can’t Get Divorced’

Spoken like a true whore. The Voice‘s Adam Levine talks to Nylon magazine about his desire to never make it to the altar. “If you don’t get married, you can’t get divorced. Why couldn’t we learn from the devastatingly low percentage of successful marriages that our last generation went through?”

The man makes a lot of sense.

It kind of cracks me up that every couple that gets married thinks that they’re the exception to the rule and they’ll be one of the couples that actually stand the test of time.

Statistics are misleading and I doubt the 50 percent of couples who remain married are happy, just like many divorced couples should have never gotten hitched in the first place and married for the wrong reasons. I don’t think divorce rates are especially high, considering how many people just aren’t wired to be good partners or got married because of ulterior motives.

I also think that SO many men (like Tiger Woods, for example), should have never married. It’s good that Levine is committed to being a slut and isn’t misleading anyone. Somewhere George Clooney and Leonardo DiCaprio are nodding their heads in agreement, thinkin’ ‘Oh, Hells yeah!’

Kelly Clarkson and Maroon 5: Touring Together!

Well this is going to be really good. Kelly Clarkson and  Maroon 5 are headlining the 2013 Honda Civic Tour which kicks off Aug. 1 in St. Louis. The Voice’s Adam Levine is thrilled to perform in outdoor venues soon.

“I think the live outdoor kind of summer vibe is always different than the indoor arena tour because there’s less emphasis on production and more on live music. It’s kind of the purist form of a tour `cause there’s not too many bells and whistles.”

Clarkson and Levine will be making 31 stops. The tour wraps up on Oct. 5 in San Diego.

Adam says that Maroon 5 is loving their continued success.

“It’s a dream come true. It’s hard to believe to have lighting strike twice and three times and four times. We’re having a moment. A good moment.”

He also has begun working on a new Maroon 5 album, saying:  “We’re just getting started. We’ve got some great songs in the can.”

The Voice Ratings: Up By 14 Percent!

Shakira and Usher have helped to give The Voice better ratings, as if the show was failing in the first place! The Voice is the only show that’s keeping NBC afloat in some ways and the network is pimping it out to death.

Carson Daly co-hosted the Today Show every day this week and now contestants are doing interviews on Today as well. That’s bullsh!t. The show just began last Monday.

Christina Aguilera hinted that she may return to the popular show but it looks like the talent competition is doing just fine without her drunken @ss.

“Cycle 4 of NBC’s The Voice returned Monday night in fine fettle, averaging 13.6 million viewers and a 4.8 in the adults 18-49 demo. It also outperformed its Sept. 17 Cycle 3 premiere by 14 percent. While it won’t erase the failures of the last three months, a viable Voice turns the lights back on Monday and Tuesday nights,” Adweek reports.

Adam Levine Celebrates His $35 Million Empire

It’s not uncommon for musical artists to move outside their singing comfort zones to reap the benefits of a multi-platform career. But it’s rare they find the level of success (AKA: cash money) that Adam Levine is now swimming in.

As the face of the hugely-successful NBC competitive series, “The Voice”, Adam has sprawled his talents into a plethora of side projects, including acting gigs on major networks, a celebrity fragrance line, a planned fashion collection, and a lucrative spokesperson job for Proactiv. (Let’s not forget, this is all on top of touring the country with his kick-@ss band, Maroon 5.)

But Adam’s not apologizing. The superstar told The Hollywood Reporter he’s anything but a sell-out.

“I think that there was this generation before us that was so hell-bent on not selling out that it went too far,” he said when asked about his $35 million — which is predominantly built on deals outside his musical talents.

“Maybe it’s history correcting itself because it’s more acceptable now to do a lot of things musicians would have been terrified to do ten years ago.”

Sell-out or not, we think he’s one magical piece of man meat, and our world is all the better because of him. You make that money, Adam!

Adam Levine Plays Nev Schulman of Catfish on Saturday Night Live

Adam Levine clearly didn't memorize his lines, but he did a great job of spoofing Nev Schlman of MTV's hit show "Catfish." Adam hosted SNL for the first time on Saturday and he went shirtless for his opening monologue, flaunting his tattoos and scrawny chest. Subtlety and modesty are not Levine's strong suits. Catfish airs Monday nights on MTV. It's one of my favorite shows for sure.

Adam Levine Hosts SNL January 26th

Adam Levine is either b!tchy, funny or both, depending upon the day. The talented Maroon 5 singer and judge on The Voice will be featured on another popular NBC show within a few weeks.

Adam will host Saturday Night Live with musical guest Kendrick Lamar. That should be good!

Maroon 5 has performed several times on the show and Adam was featured in an SNL short “Iran So Far Away” years ago. Jennifer Lawrence will be hosting SNL one week before Adam.
