Chris Hemsworth: Empire Magazine’s Man of the Year

by on

Liam Hemsworth‘s older brother is looking good in his Empire magazine photos. The Hemsworth brothers have some good genes (and values). Chris always sounds so appreciative for his success. He’s grounded. He gets it.

I think if Chris’ fame and fortune faded away tomorrow, he would be just fine. He’d be happy for his wife Elsa Pataky and his baby daughter. Although Chris’ movies are box office gold, he remains down to earth. He’s likable. If he keeps kissing a*s and remains buff, he’ll have a very lengthy career in Hollywood. Lindsay Lohan should take notes from her responsible, respectful peers.

On his box office numbers: “It is strange because you almost forget that this just doesn’t happen that often. I was talking to Matt Damon and he goes to me, ‘So Snow White did pretty good?’ and I said, ‘Yeah, I think it’ll probably hit $400 [million], but it’s not Avengers numbers.’ And he goes ‘Man!’ and he shook his head. ‘You’re f***ing ruined — 400′s huge!’ It’s like my brain thinks, ‘That’s the norm now, that’s the benchmark.’ Which, Jesus, I don’t think anything will ever come close. It’s almost as if I’ve been ruined for the rest of my career regarding box-office expectations.”

On being ‘Man of the Year’: “It’s pretty funny. It’s very nice and thank you very much, firstly. I was just discussing this — like, what does that mean? Man of the Year? I’d love to be man of the house but with my wife and now my daughter I don’t think I’ll ever hold that title! They certainly run the show. But any sort of indication that people like what you’re doing, and which in turn allows me to keep doing it, is a huge plus.”

On why Australian actors are successful in Hollywood:  “I could throw out a bunch of maybes. A producer once said to me once, “America really relates to that Western, cowboy culture because it was their history and Australians still have some of that.’ I don’t want to say something that would be offensive to other bountries like, ‘Ah, it’s because we’re more manly…’ But I’m sure there is some cultural… swagger.”

Chris Hemsworth: GQ Australia’s Man of the Year

by on

Chris Hemsworth’s career is red hot so it makes sense that Liam Hemsworth‘s older buffer bro would be crowned GQ Australia’s Man of the Year.

Chris spoke about growing up in Australia.

“There were crocodiles and buffalo. We were isolated, one of two white families. We saw a lot of corroborees and tribal dancing. I have a wider understanding for the Aboriginal situation because of my time there. It’s an insight into that world that most people don’t get.”

Interesting. He also mentions what it was like to spend three years on “Home and Away,” a popular Australia soap.

“Whenever you mention ‘Home and Away,’ people list all the Aussie actors who’ve come over to the US from it and been successful. You’ve got Naomi Watts and Simon Baker. Heath Ledger did a stint there. Hugh Jackman. No, I don’t think he did.”

Chris Hemsworth and Connor Cruise Team Up in “Red Dawn”

by on

Liam Hemsworth and Chris Hemsworth are rewarded handsomely in Hollywood for having good genes. Meanwhile Connor Cruise, 17, was cast in a new movie because he's Tom Cruise's son. Life's fair. Connor appears in Red Dawn, alongside Josh Hutcherson of The Hunger Games in a new action movie that looks like a woman's nightmare. A lot of sh!t blows up, the guys are covered up in too many clothes, and I don't even think there are any sex scenes in here. I cannot.

Chris Hemsworth is a Doting Dad

by on

I usually don’t find Chris Hemsworth sexy, but you give him a baby that he wraps his perfect arms around and I suddenly wanna smash and dash. Chris was photographed with his daughter, India Rose, recently and he is just so precious with her!

We haven’t seen India’s face yet, and she’s just so tiny, but we’ll post her photos when the paps take some good pictures. She may end up being as cute as Hilary Duff’s son is. He looks like a friggin’ doll.

Chris Hemsworth’s Sexy Arms Featured in GQ

by on

I’m so mean to Chris Hemsworth simply because I don’t think it’s fair for him to have a sexy body and not a sexy face. Give me both or neither! Christopher is featured in GQ magazine in a T-shirt that clings to those glorious arms of his.

I like looking at Chris’ body and keeping my eyes from reaching above his neck area. He has some nice hair and he doesn’t look so bad when he smiles, but he never smiles! He also gives the most boring and cliche responses just like his brother, Liam Hemsworth. When it comes to the Hemsworth brothers, you gotta take what you can get. If you want beauty and brains, that’s not gonna happen.

Chris Hemsworth is in Esquire UK…

Chris Hemsworth still doesn’t do it for me. Now don’t get me wrong, I like ‘em tall and I love them foreign, but I just don’t find him particularly attractive. His brother Liam Hemsworth is so much prettier. Christopher looks like he’d choke me out when he chokes me during sex, and I’m totes not cool with that.

Chris Hemsworth mean

Chris has a bit of a mean meets ‘I just smelled something foul’ look that doesn’t get me going. But Chris is a father and he’s married and successful and rich, so it doesn’t matter what I think of him.

He does have gorgeous eyes and a nice smile though! There’s actually a third Hemsworth brother named Luke and I just looked him up:

Luke has not been gifted in the good genes department like his younger siblings. Tragic! Looking for Luke’s picture wasn’t nearly as much fun as when I stalked out Adam Levine’s gay brother, Michael Levine.

Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron: Hot For Snow White and The Huntsman Premiere

by on

The movie may be called Snow White, but its three stars were decked out in black for last night’s world premiere in London.

Despite some questionable dress choices by the women (Seriously, what was K-Stew thinking?), all three looked hot and happy to be there. Of course, the nature of the movie invites us to argue over who’s actually the fairest of them all. Kristen is looking better than ever these days, but it’s hard for anyone to measure up to Charlize, even when she steps into the wicked step-mother role.

Hemsworth, meanwhile, is a new dad, star of the world’s biggest movie and flanked by two of the hottest actresses in Hollywood. So yeah, he’s smiling for a reason. Snow White and the Huntsman hits theaters June 1.

Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky Welcome Daughter, India Rose

by on

Chris Hemsworth is a dad now. The popular Australian actor and his wife Elsa Pataky welcomed their first child together, a daughter named India Rose. Elsa told Hello magazine "Creating a family is a commitment even much stronger than marriage, because the family ties you to that person's lifetime and a great responsibility. Here is something we decided together."

Chris actually had to leave his wife and daughter for a few hours to attend a presentation for Snow White and the Huntsman in England yesterday, along with co-stars Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart. Days ago Chris was photographed in the streets of London with his parents.

Congrats!

Chris Hemsworth on Acting: ‘I Can’t Complain’

by on

I like Chris Hemsworth‘s personality better than I do his face and I like his body better than I do his face… Basically what I’m trying to say is that while the Australian actor remains easy on the eyes, he just doesn’t do it for me. Still, Liam Hemsworth‘s brother has had a very rapid rise to the A-list and he’s grateful for his success. Humility is attractive. He’s a keeper.

On being worried that his size in ‘Thor’ will lead to typecasting: “Being that size, you are very quickly stereotyped. Clearly, you can’t be talented if you’re that bulky. He’s going to be a meathead, you know? You do wonder if you’ll be restricted and not allowed to do anything else. But what it gives you far outweighs those negatives. Kenneth Branagh, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins — this was not your average blockbuster superhero thing.”

On his quick rise to superstardom: “I’d love to say it’s all about hard work, and, yes, that’s a component, but I know so many actors who are hard workers who it’s just not happening for. I’m not about to complain.”

On if he’s getting by on his looks: “It’s so easy to sound fake sincere when you talk about looks or whatever, but I never thought, Oh yeah, great, I look like this, therefore I ought to get that. We all have the same insecurities.”
