Do you have a million friends or just a couple? And are they celebrity friends, or are they – what would you say – noncelebrity friends?
One of my best friends is an actor, but a lot of them I met in high school. They are amazing, and I have stuck with them.
You said you have one famous-y friend. Kristen Stewart, I’m guessing?
Yeah. Yeah.
Is that friendship different than your others because you’ve been through so many similar things?
When we’re together, we’re not talking about movie stuff. She’s just my really good friend, you know? We go out. We stay in a lot too. I’m a homebody!

Whew. Dakota’s too pale to pull this look off. It flushes her out and she needs longer hair to elongate her face. Her dress looks dated, but that’s fine. She’s too multi-talented and smart to be enamored with fashion.

Dakota Fanning Defends Kristen Stewart

Dakota Fanning acts in the Twilight movies and played Kristen Stewart’s lesbian lover in The Runaways. The two young actresses are friends, so when InStyle UK asked Dakota about Kristen cheating on Robert Pattinson with her married director, Dakota basically tells KStew haters to fall back.

“Everyone thinks they have the right to, you know, publicise the struggles and sadness and heartbreak and all of that. It’s like, ‘Why do you think you are the authority to judge people’s experiences?’”

Welp, Kristen is a public figure who cheated with her married director – we’re going to judge her whoring out, aka “experiences.”

On having only one boyfriend before and being currently single: “You know, I’m not the kind of girl or person who really wants boyfriends in my life. I’m also the kind of person… I’m very black and white in what I feel and I don’t wanna be with someone that I don’t foresee spending a long time with.”

Dakota’s independent, smart, talented, beautiful and driven. Love this chick!

The final installment of the Twilight movies will hit theaters November 16, but fans don’t have to wait until then to get some great pictures of Renesmee, played by Mackenzie Foy, and the other Twilight stars. Dakota Fanning Has Never Been in Love Before

Dakota Fanning is officially an adult now and she knows exactly what she wants. Dakota goes to NYU and she knows that she has a thriving career but she’s in college because she wants to be. Dakota has always been mature beyond her years and she proves it in her new feature in C magazine.

Dakota has a role in a new indie movie called Effie about a teenage bride. When Fanning was asked if she’s ever been in love before, she said: “Ahh, not really. No. I would have to say no … but Effie wasn’t really in love with her husband, either, which made [filming the movie of the same name] easier.”

That’s surprising, to me at least, but this chick is dedicated to her craft. Romance can wait.

On college: “I’m not going to school for a career. I’m going for my own interest, for myself. I already know what I want to do forever.”

On turning 18: “I feel like this new chapter as an adult is almost like starting over. That’s the interesting part about getting older in this business. I’m excited to present myself differently.”

Dakota Fanning has been named Cosmopolitan’s “Fun Fearless Female” and the young actress graces the cover of Cosmopolitan’s February issue. She looks older than a 17 year-old on the cover, but she’s not even legal yet! Posing along such headlines like “His Best Sex Ever,” “Too Naughty to Say Here,” and “Um, Vagina, Are You Okay Down There?” it’s evident that this sh!t is completely inappropriate.

Dakota has many tween fans. Does Cosmo want to reach a younger audience?! How about we just agree to have Cosmo’s cover models be at least 18 years old, for the love of gawd? Young celebs have young fans, and young girls are already bombarded with trashy role models and products like Kardashian Barbie dolls.

That being said, I had a subscription to Seventeen when I was 11 years old and I started reading Cosmopolitan magazine when I was around that age too. Where else was I to go to learn invaluable advice like “Put a donut on his penis and then give him a blowjob” or “Find Out What He Thinks About Your O-Face.” I hate this sexist magazine with a passion, but it always makes me LMFAO.

Dakota Fanning put on a Louis Vuitton dress and a baby blue Prada ensemble for the cover photo of ELLE UK‘s February 2012 issue. Dakota says that her younger sister, Elle Fanning, is more stylish than she is.

“She’s the go-to fashion person in the family. Elle knows every single model, every single collection, every single piece from every single collection.” Dakota said.

She continued to praise her sister, saying: “She has a real passion, and it’s not at all in a materialistic way. She genuinely appreciates the workmanship and creativity.”

Dakota revealed that her sister was photographed in her clothes last summer and she called her up and told her “I caught you!” Ha. Well Elle may be fashion forward, but Dakota looks beautiful. Nice lips!

Dakota Fanning: Marc Jacobs’ Ad Banned in the UK

Dakota Fanning, 17, did an ad campaign for Marc Jacobs’ Oh, Lola! perfume but the photos won’t be published in Britain. The BBC reports that Dakota’s picture did not meet the U.K.’s Ad Standards Authority guildelines.

According to the watchdog group’s report: “The length of her dress, her leg and position of the perfume bottle drew attention to her sexuality. Because of that, along with her appearance, we considered the ad could be seen to sexualize a child.”

The ASA considers the advertisement to cause “serious offense” and said that the picture must not appear again.

I’ve been trying to find a way to describe why I support this by using smart people words, but that’s not gonna happen. I think it’s great whenever a country rejects something American in favor of upholding its traditional standards, as long as those standards aren’t oppressing anyone.
