Who needs drugs when they have Lea Michele? Sources say the fresh-faced Gleek has been incredibly supportive as boyfriend and co-star ~~Finn Hudson~~ Cory Monteith seeks treatment for substance abuse in California.

“Lea is an excellent influence on him,” insiders have said. “She’s really calmed him. They seem to compliment each other’s personalities very well. They are always very affectionate and sweet to each other.”

Cory was admitted to rehab on March 31. It is unknown what substances are at the root of Cory’s struggles, but the 30-year-old actor has been open about his addiction after being admitted to rehab 11 years ago.

“I don’t want kids to think it’s okay to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors, too,” Monteith said in 2011.

We’re glad he has a trooper by his side in these tough times. Get better soon, Core!

Heather Morris of Glee is expecting her first child with longtime boyfriend Taylor Hubbell. The 26 year-old actress is the second Glee star to flip the script on the set of the popular show. Lea Michele’s boyfriend Cory Monteith voluntarily began rehab last weekend.

Morris is “a little more than three months along and starting to show.” Heather met her boyfriend Taylor Hubbell in high school. The pregnancy “was totally unexpected” but the couple is “incredibly happy and excited,” an UsWeekly source reveals.

Morris has long been vocal about her eagerness to start a family with Hubbell — even if it means quitting showbiz.

“I want to marry Taylor and have kids with him,” the star told Fitness in 2011. “I love acting, but if it affects my relationship, then I won’t continue.”

Congratulations to the happy couple.

Now this is a shocker. Glee star Cory Monteith has voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction. Cory, 30, is a high school dropout who was in rehab for substance abuse when he was 19 years old. Dating Lea Michele would make most men want to seek professional help. It happens.

His rep says: “He graciously asks for your respect and privacy as he takes the necessary steps towards recovery.” Good luck with that one! Now every reporter is going to be asking Cory about this whenever he’s interviewed.

“I don’t want kids to think it’s okay to drop out of school and get high, and they’ll be famous actors, too,” he said in 2011. “But for those people who might give up: Get real about what you want and go after it.”

Cory’s co-star and real life girlfriend Lea says: “I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud he made this decision.”

This past Thursday, Gleeks rejoiced in a major milestone for the musical FOX series: the show’s 500^th song!

OK, we can all agree the song’s a little lame as hell cheesy, but what would “Glee” be if it didn’t leave us squirming on our couches like awkward 13-year-olds?

The series, which had its fair share of struggles after its massively popular first year, has seen a consistent ratings improvement in its fourth season, remaining FOX’s most popular scripted series.

So Mr. Murphy not only turned Lea Michele into a worldwide celeb and the face of L’Oreal, but also got her a boo?

Glee’s matriarch/sometimes super huge diva said the show’s creator deserves the credit for hooking her up with boyfriend and Canadian co-star Cory Monteith. “Yes, I would definitely say he is my matchmaker, for sure.”

Murphy didn’t disagree.

“I directed them in their first scene together and they had that sort of chemistry that you can’t fake, and I said ‘Uh-oh,’” Murphy recalled at last Thursday’s PaleyFest Icon Award presentation in Beverly Hills. “So I did kind of know. I take the credit.”

Carly Rae is soon to receive the Glee stamp of approval when the somehow popular Fox series opens its fourth season with a rendition of her inescapable song.

You can check out the performance in the video above. Heather Morris and Darren Criss are bringin' it as usual. No idea who the black dude is, but it's good to see the Glee producers are keeping up their tradition of casting with ethnic diversity in mind. Any guesses on how long it will take the writers to reduce this kid to a one-note, offensive stereotype? It took, like, half an episode for the Asian kids.

After Nene Leakes joined Glee after Gwyneth Paltrow and others have appeared, the stunt casting continues this season on one of Fox's most popular shows. Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker will both appear in multiple episodes.

Kate will be on six episodes. She'll be playing a very harsh instructor that Lea Michele has to work with. Kate's character is described as being someone who believes in negative reinforcement.

Ryan Murphy posted the photo above with the following caption: “GLEE exclusive: @msleamichele and Kate Hudson on the NYADA set. Kate had chandelier approval.”

Oh good, it looks like Lea and Kate are getting along! Lea probably gets along with everyone considering that she's faker than breast implants.

At Comic-Con, this is the crap Lea said when asked about working with Ms. Hudson: “I am so excited! OMG! I’m so obsessed with her! I love her! She’s one of the greatest comedic actresses right now and I just think she’s so great…so I can’t wait to work with her!”

So where did you just vomit? I turned away from my keyboard first.
