James Holmes knows how to kill a dozen people, but when it comes to offing himself, he just can't do it.
Holmes "attempted" suicide by running headfirst into a jail cell wall on Tuesday. He also stood on his bed in his cell and fell backwards in an attention whore attempt to crack his skull open.
James killed 12 people and injured 58 more during his July 20 massacre.
Looks like the joke is on The Joker. James Holmes is charged with 24 counts of 1st degree murder. That's one count for every year he's been alive. I can count?! Anyway, Holmes has been charged with two counts for each of his 12 victims who died in his July 20 movie theater massacre.
James appeared in a Colorado courtroom to hear what he's up against. He was also charged with 116 counts of attempted murder, 2 counts for each of the 58 people who were injured in the shooting.
I don't get it. Colorado is being harsh with Holmes' charges, all the while it was completely legal for him to purchase military style guns and thousands of dollars worth of ammunition in the same state. Makes no f*cking sense!
TMZ reports: "Holmes was also charged with possessing an explosive device and unlawful use of a deadly weapon. In total, Holmes was hit with 142 charges. Prosecutors have not yet decided if they will seek the death penalty."
Prosecutors have two options. They can agree that the crime was premeditated or that Holmes acted with "extreme indifference to the value of human life." His next court date is August 9th. There are some trials that you wish would just speed up, this is one of 'em. The sooner we stop talking about this f*cktard, the better.
The other day we heard that James Holmes' sent a letter detailing his massacre plans and sent them to a school psychiatrist. Initial reports said that the mail remained in the mailroom for a week, undelivered. The school denied the claim and now it has been revealed that James' letter arrived on Monday, three days after the shooting. He's just trying to look insane, but it's not working!
A source in James' jail tells The New York Daily News: “He needs to save his act for the jury because no one here is buying it. Everyone is convinced he is faking it.”

In addition to faking amnesia, Holmes doesn't like the food in jail.
“He’s claiming his belly hurts him. He complained once that he didn’t like the food . . . The guy killed 12 people, and he’s upset that he’s not getting a four-star meal?”
"The Joker" is in lockdown 23 hours a day and wears a bulletproof vest during his once-a-day walks. He booby-trapped his apartment with explosives, spent thousands over the course of months on weapons and created online profiles with a headline that asks "Will you visit me in jail" yet wants us to believe that the mass murder he put together wasn't premeditated? Good luck with that one!
As more details emerge about James Holmes’ life prior to the tragic Colorado movie theater massacre, it becomes more obvious that there were warning sides. In addition to all of the ammunition James legally purchased and the weapons he had sent to his apartment and school, he mailed a letter to a psychiatrist at the University of Colorado a week before his heartless attack.
Law enforcement confirms that James’ letter had been sitting in the mailroom since July 12!!!!!!!
Police and FBI agents were called to the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus on Monday after the shrink reported receiving a package from Holmes.
James sent a notebook that gives “chilling details” of his planned attack. It is unclear why the package was not delivered to the psychiatrist earlier. It is also unknown if Holmes had any prior contact with the person he sent the notebook to.
Such a damn shame.
James Holmes, 24, was smart enough to qualify for his university’s neuroscience PhD program, he orchestrated a mass murder at a movie theater and he made sure there were enough explosives in his bedroom to kill off anyone who entered it.
Twelve people were shot to death on Friday and dozens more were injured. Holmes is currently in jail and he had his very first court appearance today. He wants people to believe that he’s crazy, telling the police “I’m the Joker” and ‘acting crazy’ in court today. I didn’t watch James’ video, but I think that he’s pure evil and not certifiably insane.
TMZ reports that James appeared sedated and opened his eyes widely. He also dozed off and began to “blink wildly.”
He didn’t say a word and he’s forbidden from contacting any of the victims or their families.
Jessica Ghawi's brother blogged about his 24 year-old sister's final moments. Jordan Ghawi says that his mother called him up "hysterical and almost unintelligible" to let him know that his sister was one of the victims at last night's The Dark Knight Rises midnight showing.
Fifty nine people were shot when neuroscience student James Holmes opened fire after filling the theater with tear gas.
Jordan lives in Texas but traveled to Colorado this morning. He said that Jessica was with one of their mutual friends named Brent.
"Jessica and Brent were seated in the middle portion of the theatre when a device was thrown into the theatre that produced a 'hissing' sound. The theatre then began to fill with smoke which is when patrons began to move from their seats. At that time, shots were fired."
Brent heard Jessica scream and noticed that she was struck in the leg.
"Brent, began holding pressure on the wound and attempted to calm Jessica. It was at this time that Brent took a round to his lower extremities. While still administering first aid, Brent noticed that Jessica was no longer screaming. He advised that he looked over to Jessica and saw what appeared to be an entry wound to her head."
This afternoon Jordan Tweeted: "Let us remember the names of the victims and not the name of the coward who committed this act."
James Holmes opened fire in the middle of a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises in Aurora, CO, killing at least a dozen people and wounding at least 50 others. James’ victims ranged in age from a 3-month-old to a 31 year old. He is currently in police custody.
Holmes is a 24-year-old who was studying neuroscience at the University of Colorado. James grew up in San Diego.
Holmes wore a bulletproof vest, riot helmet and a gas mask when he entered the Century 16 Movie Theater through an emergency exit and randomly began shooting people. He tossed tear gas into the crowd before he began firing at patrons.
Holmes reportedly used a rifle, a shotgun, a handgun and another firearm on his victims.
