MTV is just as desperate as FOX producers are about American Idol. Who still cares about Snooki and JWoww? I can’t with this show. It’s scripted, IMO, and I can’t stand Snooki’s future ex-husband Jionni LaValle. MTV has given Snooks a third season of her show Snooki & JWoww. Isn’t this what she got knocked up for?

Polizzi and Farley will “continue sharing their stories of motherhood and engagement bliss over many a gossipy brunch,” said MTV in a statement.

“Better stay on your toes, tri-state area, because when these ladies get together, there’s no telling what’ll happen.”

Season 2 of Snooki & JWoww was about Nicole Polizzi giving birth and JWoww eventually getting engaged to her occasionally sh!tty boyfriend Roger Mathews, apparently. There’s no word on where season 3 will be filmed, much of season 2 was filmed in Jionni’s parents’ house, but you “Better stay on your toes, tri-state area” because a midget and a chick with too much plastic surgery are coming to recite their lines in a street or bar near you!

Snooki has had a watermelon in her pinhole before, but now she'll be pushing Lorenzo Dominic LaValle out of it. Snooki gives birth to her baby with Jionni LaValle on season 2 of Snooki & JWoww.

Jenni desperately wants a ring from Roger, who is holding out on her, and Jionni tells Snooki that he can't marry her if she doesn't change. Sweet!

What's noteworthy in the clip above is that Nicole Polizzi is seen drinking and smoking. Someone couldn't wait to pop that kid out!

The season 6 premiere of Jersey Shore, which aired last Thursday, was all about Deena Cortese’s weight loss, Snooki and Jionni LaValle pretending that they’re aren’t doomed, and Mike Sorrentino staying away from alcohol.

Chris Buckner, Deena’s boyfriend, also appeared and the entire episode was a snoozefest.

The first 30 minutes were spent showing the roommates driving to the Shore house where Lorenzo Dominic LaValle‘s mom decides that she needs to move out of the house. The boring premiere was the best editors could come up with. MTV may have pulled the plug a season too late.

Still, season 6 was the top rated show on cable television!

4.69 million viewers tuned into the 10p.m.season 6 premiere, the show lost half a million viewers by the second hour.

7.6 million tuned into the season 5 premiere

8.78 million watched the season 4 premiere

8.45 million tuned into season 3

5.25 million checked out the season 2 premiere

Expect ratings to plummet as season 6 is guaranteed to suck.

Our little guidettes are growing up right before our eyes. First Snooki had a baby, now her surgically enhanced BFF Jenni Farley (aka, JWoww) has announced that she plans to marry longtime boyfriend Roger Matthews.

Jenni made the announcement to In Touch magazine today. The tabloid also published the above photo of the massive rock that Roger purchased for his bride-to-be. Turns out he was given very specific instructions before he set out ring shopping:

"I always said, 'I want my ring like you … big!" said JWoww. "The bigger the better!'" Roger popped the question with a handwritten sign during a skydiving session, so it seems the proposal was mega-sized, as well. Hey, you only need to take one look at Jenni's chest to see that she likes everything huge.

Anyway, congrats to the happy couple. We look forward to your inevitable reality series.

MTV has finally pulled the plug on a popular series that used to be fresh to def but has become dated. Today the cable network announced that the upcoming sixth season of Jersey Shore will be its last.

There were rumors that the show would end seasons ago. Season 6 wrapped up filming last month and will premiere on Oct. 4.

It's time! We haven't wanted to fist pump as much with the Jersey Shore millionaires for a while. The cast has grown up and the fights, make-ups and breakups are no longer entertaining. Hopefully editors will do their best to make sure that season 6 is much better than last season.

You know the entire cast thought they were going to parlay the show into legit careers in the entertainment industry. We look forward to watching you all on some has been Vh1 programs in the future as you cry into half empty cups of Ron Ron Juice.

We actually do have a few reasons to celebrate the return of Jersey Shore. Mike Sorrentino is ~~going to be pretending to be~~ a recovering alcoholic, Snooki is a pregnant midget, expecting a baby with her fiance Jionni LaValle; Deena Cortese has a boyfriend, lost weight and got arrested, and the only single folks in the house are gay Vinny Guadagnino and his power bottom Pauly D.

We already know that a fight went down during the filming of Jersey Shore; and with most of the cast in a relationship, folks may also be fighting over the smush room.

Pregnant Snooki is bound to be pretty hilarious, and knowing that these millionaires have to "work" at a t-shirt store is enough of a reason to tune in. Every job has its disadvantages, but can you imagine having to wake up early in the morning to "work" at a t-shirt store when you're hungover and f*cking rich? That's torture, and it's the one reason viewers shouldn't be jealous of the wealthy cast.

Season 6 kicks off on Thursday October 4 at 10 p.m. on MTV.

Season 1 of Snooki & JWoww is currently airing but plans for season 2 are already in place. Nicole Polizzi and Jenni Farley will be hangin gout in another city for season two of one of the dumbest shows ever. The women of Jersey Shore will film season 2 August 9 through October 14! Snooki's baby is due in early September!

… Maybe MTV is only going forward with a second season so that Snooks can give birf via C-section "so it doesn't f*ck up her vagina" on TV.

Jenni and Snooki will only have dates and shop in Morristown, New Jersey but Snooki will be living with Jionni LaValle at his parents' house while filming and Jenni will continue living with Roger during filming. So WTF is the point of this crap?! This is exactly why I haven't watched this "reality" show.

It looks like they’ll be a few Jersey Shore marriages taking place over the next few years. Snooki is pregnant and engaged to Jionni LaValle, Sammi and Ronnie are serious again and want their own spin-off, The Situation has settled down for PR purposes the moment, and Deena Cortese is dating Chris Buckner.

JWoww said that Roger’s dad wants to see it happen!

“[Roger's] dad is dying for us to get married. He wants grandchildren. He texts me almost every day for that.”

It hasn’t happened yet because Roger isn’t in a hurry. Roger says: “There’s no rush … no trophy for being first. But do we want to get married? Oh yeah. Absolutely.”

Jenni and Roger already live together and she knows what she wants.

“I just want a big ring. That’s all I care about – a big ring.”

I like this couple but so many things sound so awful in print. Jenni doesn’t strike me as the superficial type, but she sounds materialistic when she talks about wanting a rock. And she’s an idiot for also saying that living with Roger “takes a lot of pressure off” of him because “it already feels like” they’re married. Such bullsh!t!
