In case you were wondering who Katie Holmes would date next, the man of the moment is none other than Jake Gyllenhaal.

An insider reveals that Joshua Jackson, Katie's Dawson's Creek co-star, hooked them up.

"Josh has been the mastermind behind this romance. Katie says that they have tons in common and Jake has already been to see her in Dead Accounts, plus she has been over to his apartment in the West Village for dinner."

Katie went to see Jake's movie If There is I Haven't Found it Yet in September.

I think they're perfect for each other. We're waiting for the paparazzi pics!

Katie Holmes Gets $400k/ Year in Child Support

Katie Holmes isn't receiving any alimony but she's receiving nearly half a million dollars a year for Suri Cruise. Less than two months after filing for divorce from Tom Cruise, Katie's divorce has been finalized.

Tom has a $250 million fortune but Katherine isn't getting a piece of that. She'll receive $33,333.33 each month in an electronic transfer for her daughter, which amounts to $4.8 million by the time Suri turns 18.

"Tom must pay Suri’s support for the next 12 years — until she turns 18. All tolled, that comes to $4.8 million," TMZ reports.

Katie and her ex have both agreed that Suri can not attend a residential school, which means Scientology schools are out. Katie "could have gotten more child support under New York law if the case went to trial" but both parties decided to settle quickly.

If Katie doesn't care that she isn't getting a big piece of Tom's money than we shouldn't either. She has her freedom and she's happy.

Katie Holmes Wants To “Undo” Suri Cruise’s Scientologist Upbringing

Well, hopefully she’s prepared to go into hiding. According to Us Weekly, Katie Holmes’ main focus in the weeks following her divorce is “undoing the damage” caused by daughter Suri Cruise’s upbringing in the Church of Scientology. Good luck with that.

According to some reports, Katie was prohibited from disciplining Suri in any way, which may help explain Suri’s recent meltdown when she was denied a new puppy. Mom’s starting to put her foot down, and the chosen child ain’t happy about it.

“Tom would let Suri do whatever she wanted,” says a source close to the family. “Katie saw that Suri was growing into a monster. “She wants to really become a parent and start teaching her strong discipline. Suri’s life is going to change.”

Scientologist philosophy dictates that children be treated like “little adults” and allowed to make their own decisions. It works about as well as you’d expect, and in Suri’s case, this meant lots of ice cream for dinner. We’re guessing she’s really looking forward to weekends with dad.

Tom Cruise “Blindsided” By Divorce Filing

Many of us predicted the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes divorce years ago, but at least one person never saw it coming: Tom Cruise.

A new report in People magazine claims that Cruise felt “blindsided” when news broke that his wife had filed for divorce last month. “[He] was thinking, ‘What did I not see?’” said a source close to Cruise. The insider adds that for Tom, the most difficult part of the split has been his month-long separation from daughter Suri.

Tom was in Iceland filming a sci-fi film called Oblivion at the time of the split. Needless, to say, Katie wasn’t eager to bring Suri by for a visit. “He couldn’t shut down production, cost people their jobs. People count on him,” said the source, who’s beginning to sound a lot like Tom’s PR man. Stay tuned for more comments carefully “leaked” from Tom’s camp.

Suri Cruise: Katie Holmes Gets Primary Custody

Katie Holmes filed for sole custody of Suri Cruise and she managed to receive primary legal custody of her daughter. Tom Cruise will be able to see his 6 year-old “but there are guidelines for the visits.”

A source tells Us Weekly “Katie was really smart about how she did this.” Cruise loves his children and is reportedly sad.

Tom and Katie’s divorce settlement has a lot of provisions and was complicated. “One of the provisions is confidentiality,” the source adds.

Tom didn’t put up much of a fight. You can tell that there’s so much Katie hasn’t told the public. She never will now that she’s signed the divorce docs. Tommy has a lot of secrets.

Less than two weeks after Katie Holmes filled for divorce, one of the most famous couples in Hollywood has already settled their divorce. Gawd these two are boring! Give me drama, a-holes!

Katie’s lawyer says: “This case has been settled and the agreement has been signed. We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life.”

Many believed that things would get brutal because Katie wanted sole custody of Suri Cruise and Tom wanted to make sure that he has “meaningful, significant” contact with his daughter.

Katie’s lawyer said that he thanks Tom’s counsel “for their professionalism and diligence that helped bring about this speedy resolution.”

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Broke Up Last Year?!

Katie Holmes is a better actress than I thought. The 33 year-old claims that her marriage to Tom Cruise was “irretrievably” broken at least 6 months prior to her filing for divorce. Meanwhile Tom was “blindsided” by the split and he had “no idea” she was going to end their relationship.

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise Move Out

Though the custody battle between her and Tom Cruise has yet to fire up, Katie Holmes has packed up the grown-child that is Suri and moved out! Only days after Katie filed for divorce, she took her six-year-old daughter and moved out of the family’s shared New York City apartment, into a new one.

Ouch! Hear that? That’s the sting of coming back to any empty house after you return home from Iceland of all places (Tom’s filming the movie Oblivion). How much do you wanna bet he only found out from People? Awwwwwkward.

On the bright side, this also sounds like the plotline to some Lifetime Original Movie, where mother and daughter escape from the evil clutches of a controlling Scientology-obsessed husband/father and try to make it on their own, those crazy kids!
