Good call, Kris!

It’s being reported that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humpries have settled their almost year long battle. Sources close to Kris say that the basketball player won’t be showing up to court, but after realizing that he wasn’t going to win the case with allegations of fraud he decided to soften his position.

Right now the settlement is confidential, but it’s pretty clear that this was a divorce and not an annulment, which is what Kris was pursuing. However, with good news comes bad new. And, the bad news is that Kris will be fined for not showing up to court.

These two had the shortest marriage and the longest divorce battle ever.

For a while it looked like Kris Humphries would have a snowball’s chance in hell of getting this divorce to go his way, but there’s still a little sliver of hope.

Apparently, his lawyers plan to force Kim Kardashian to confess under oath that a number of scenes were staged in order to make Kris look bad. Television executives and producers are the witness list, including Jay Russell, who has already revealed that some scenes were re-shot.

Even Kris Jenner will be forced to answer questions revealing the truth about re-shot scenes. And, according to an insider Kim is starting to worry,

“Kim is freaking out that she is going to be forced to testify that aspects of the Kardashian reality show are fake. She has always said how much she loves her fans and viewers. Kris feels that this proves unequivocally he was duped into marrying Kim.”

Uh oh, Kim. Better start praying that your lawyer comes up with a plan to get you out of this because things aren’t looking so good right now.

So, where was Kris Humphries on Tuesday during Kim Kardashian’s nine hour deposition? Well. he was doing what he gets paid to do, playing basketball.

Kris, whose lawyer Lee Hutton had been adamant about his right to attend the depo, had to miss it because he had basket ball practice and was heading to Dallas later that day for a game on Wednesday. However Kris has stated that he will be at the May 6th trial even if it conflicts with the playoffs.

What? So, you can miss a playoff game, but you can’t miss practice or couldn’t have just caught a later flight to Dallas. Alright, Kris, you’re really not making yourself look good in this divorce. When people are siding with Kim that’s when you really need to reevaluate your life.

Maybe everything about Keeping Up With The Kardashians isn’t completely staged. Tuesday Kim Kardashian testified under oath that when Kris Humphries proposed she really did love him. Kris has been trying to get the marriage annulled on the basis of fraud, but it seems like his argument is slowly crumbling.

Also, it doesn’t help that he didn’t show up for the deposition. After making about big deal about being there Kris didn’t even show up and it’s not like he had anything else to do that day.

Kim also testified that her reality show played no part in her decision to get married. Kris’s lawyer Lee Hutton, who made numerous threats to expose the reality show, didn’t ask much about the show. But, maybe he’s saving all of his ammo for some sort of grand revelation.

It’s on! Kim Kardashian may have thought that she had an ally in fellow Kris Humphries ex Myla Sinanaj, but it looks like Kim has overstepped her bounds as usual, and Myla just wants the famewhore to back the hell off.

Late yesterday, Myla posted some angry tweets that were quite plainly directed at Kimmy. “Why don’t u enjoy ur Miami trip and stop sending private investigators to my house-Stop dragging me into ur drama,” Sinanaj wrote, adding, “I don’t have to explain Or apologize for who I chose to be friends with. Subpoena or not!”

So if you’re trying to keep track at home: Myla and Kris were dating (probably), then they broke up, then she was rumored to be suing him, just before she falsely claimed to be pregnant with his baby…now she’s coming after Kim. In fairness, Kim came after her first with a subpoena, but don’t be surprised if crazypants Myla has been seeing private investigators creeping around her front lawn for years.
