Who knew Kristen Stewart’s boyfriend’s clothes and Converse sneaks would get her to the top of the world’s best dressed list two years in a row? Congrats KStew, on continuing to amaze
me.
This definitely gets my blood boiling a little bit and for a few reasons. First off, KStew really shouldn’t be at the top of any list other than the home wrecking one.
Second, since when was dressing like a boy considered good enough to make the Twilight’s Bella ‘Best Dressed?’ …Third, I can at the very least reason that the 23-year-old actress has some good fashion choices while ON the red carpet. But, let’s be serious, there is no way she is the one choosing those outfits! Lastly, AGAIN!? Really? Because winning last year wasn’t enough, we had to go ahead and give her the title twice, beating fashionistas like Kate Middleton, Victoria Beckham, and Emma Watson.
I swear, Glamour is just enjoying the attention and backlash that they will surely receive by ranking Kristen no.1 much like People when they choose Gwyneth Paltrow as “Most Beautiful Woman.”
According to the mag, ‘The 23-year-old Twilight star was praised or her ‘personal rock-chick style’. Although she sometimes embraces high fashion on the red carpet, she often dresses down in her free time.”
So she’s actually getting praised for dressing like a boy?
The fact of the matter is, even K-Stew knows she sucks when it comes to picking out her own fashion choices. I think she continues to do it because likes the attention too. She told the mag for their June issue, “I go outside, and I’m wearing a funky T-shirt and my hair is dirty, and people say, “What’s wrong with her? She needs to invest in a hairbrush.”
I guess I just don’t seem to get the fascination with her that all Twihards seem to acquire. I find this list very disconcerting though. There’s no way the Duchess should have not taken any other spot than the top slot. Even being pregnant, she dresses better than the average American.
However, she was not far off. Other contenders that Kristen beat out are as Emma Watson, The Duchess of Cambridge, Emma Stone, and Taylor Swift. Kind of surprised Victoria Beckham didn’t take the Top 5. I would have loved to see Blake Lively (who took #8) come out near the top as well. After all, she does do almost all her own hair and make-up. She’s surely more worthy than Stewart.
