Liberty Ross Files for Divorce From Rupert Sanders

Kristen Stewart had an affair with Rupert Sanders and the paparazzi blew up her spot last July. Rupert is married to Liberty Ross, the mother of his two kids. Liberty laid low post-scandal and now she's filed for divorce.

This was "a long time coming," reportedly. That's the way to do it, wait for the s**t storm to pass and then make your moves.

Liberty and Rupert both want joint custody of their 2 children – ages 5 and 7. She is also seeking spousal support and would like for her attorney fees to be paid. Rupert is not asking for spousal support and would like to share the cost of attorney fees with his estranged wife.

Rupert and Liberty went to counseling but Liberty couldn't get over his affair with Kristen.

Not everyone is as forgiving as Robert Pattinson is. Kristen's an official homewrecker now. That's gotta sting.

Liberty Ross and Rupert Sanders: Staying Together?

While only time and a few million tabloid articles will tell what becomes of the relationship between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, it seems the things may be settling down on the other side of the cheating scandal.

Earlier this week, it looked like Rupert Sanders and Liberty Ross were officially dunzo, as insiders confirmed that Ross had met with a divorce attorney and stopped wearing her wedding ring. Now, it seems that reconciliation may be in the cards as sources say the couple have entered marriage counseling, and both parties are intent on working it out.

Well, there ya go, Rob. Maybe you should take a page from Liberty's book and practice the divine art of forgiveness. Then again, you're a young handsome, millionaire, not a married mother of two. Run for the hills, boy!

Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders: Having Sex “For Months”?

Leopold Ross is the brother of Liberty Ross. What's with this family and ridiculous L names?! Anyway, Leopold spoke to People UK about the Kristen Stewart scandal. It sounds like Liberty may be divorcing Rupert Sanders for having a lengthy affair with Kristen, not just a "momentary indiscretion."

Leopold says that Kristen and Rupert began the affair during the second half of filming Snow White and the Huntsman.

"It was from the last half of filming and all through post-production, clear into last week."

Leopold sounds like he's totes over Rupert.

"It might actually make things better in the long run. She wasn’t that happy for a while, but our family is close, she’ll be all right."

Damn!

Well, I never believed that Kristen and Rupert just happened to be photographed while making out for the first time in public. That makes no sense! Naturally Kristen and Rupert are only going to speak upon what was exposed and make their PDA sound like an isolated incident.

I'm glad that Liberty has a strong support system, but divorce still sucks for the kids. Rupert has a 7 year-old daughter and a 5 year-old son. Meanwhile Robert Pattinson is reportedly angry and has already moved out of the home he shares with Kristen.

Charlize Theron: Mad at Kristen Stewart

Charlize Theron has only said kind things about her Snow White and the Huntsman co-star, Kristen Stewart. Charlize and Kristen became legitimate friends on the set of the movie which is why things are so awkward for Charlize – she's friends with Rupert's wife Liberty Ross and Kristen.

An insider said:

“Charlize is absolutely fuming with Kristen for having an affair with Rupert. She is very tight with Liberty, has often socialized with the family over dinner and cannot believe Kristen has done this."

Kristen and Charlize "were always sharing advice," the Radar source says. Theron even asked Robert Pattinson's girlfriend to be her baby's godmother!

The Oscar-winning actress reportedly "has great sympathy for Liberty and the kids."

Kristen Stewart to Apologize to Liberty Ross?

We're sure Kristen Stewart has been making a lot of apologies lately, but she left one important person out of her public statement of remorse: her co-star and wife of Rupert Sanders, Liberty Ross.

“Kristen didn’t feel it was appropriate to issue a public apology to Liberty once the story of her affair with Rupert broke,” a source tells Radar Online. “Instead, she’s going to do the decent thing and write Liberty a private letter expressing her deepest regret for her actions."

A risky move, as Kristen may be the last person in the world that Liberty wants to hear from at this point, but sources say the Twilight star is overcome with guilt and desperately wants to make things right. "The fact that Liberty and Rupert have two kids has now dawned on her and she feels awful for what she did,” says the insider.

Well, at last that helps keep things in perspective. As much as Kristen may have messed up, at least she's not a middle-aged father of two. They both should've known better, but Rupert really should've known better.

Rupert Sanders’ Wife Liberty Ross Thought Her Marriage Was Solid

Liberty Ross Tweeted "wow" and "Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together," a day before her husband's incriminating photos were published. Liberty spoke to YOU magazine about her marriage to Rupert just two weeks ago. Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders were caught making out on July 17.

"I was very ready to get married and have babies. I romanticised domesticity for a while, and loved having a shopping list of groceries stuck to the fridge for the first time."

Liberty also said that it took "five years" for her to "feel happy" living in Los Angeles after moving from London.

Rupert and Liberty have been together for the past decade, she said:

"I went from the glamour of working with Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano to living on an isolated hilltop, with my husband gone most of the time.' 'But that’s why everything feels so amazing now. We rode through the really hard times and we stuck it out."

Oh guuuuurl, that interview was some bad timing.

Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders Apologize For Cheating

Wow. Ya gotta hand it to Kristen Stewart for knowing when she's been busted. The Twilight star skipped the usual denials and BS and went right to the apology stage today, issuing a statement of remorse just hours after it was revealed that she cheated on longtime boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

“I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," Kristen said in a statement to People magazine. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

Surprisingly candid stuff, especially when you consider that this is basically the first time either Rob or Kristen has publicly admitted to being in a relationship. Kristen picked a hell of a time to profess her love to the world. We're thinking it may be too little, too late.

For his part, Rupert Sanders also issued a statement to People saying, "My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world…I am praying that we can get through this together." Good luck with that, bro. If you ask me, Sanders' wife, Liberty Ross, is the real victim here. I mean, it's rough for Rob, and all, but something tells me he's got about 40 million female Twi-hards dying to console him.
