Mariah Carey Weight Loss Bikini Photos: Impressive!

Mariah Carey is in her 40′s and she looks great. The former American Idol judge and iconic pop singer posted the photo below on her Instagram along with the caption: “Behind the scenes on set with @MiguelUnlimited coming soon :)

I’ve been over Mimi’s music for a long time. “Beautiful” isn’t bad, but there’s nothing innovative about Mariah’s recycled sound and her Idol critiques make Christina Aguilera look like a rocket scientist on The Voice. Those boobs are too far apart, but I’m sure for some fans the thirst is real.

American Idol Looks To Replace Mariah Carey With Jennifer Lopez

by on

Call me crazy, but isn’t it the contestants who get voted off, not the judges? According to reports from TMZ, Jennifer Lopez has been approached by producers to return to the show in place of Mariah Carey to help salvage ratings.

“We’ve learned Lopez will appear on the now ratings-challenged show on May 16 to debut her new single, but Fox has bigger ideas—they want to stop the hemorrhaging quickly and bring the former judge back on the show,” TMZ confirmed.

Uh-oh! The show must really be in danger if execs are talking about bringing JLo back. The former judge previously left the show after two years, because Fox was not willing to meet her demands financially.

However, no deal has been made and it appears Mariah Carey is not going away without a fight. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Carey found out about the deal and responded with a threat of litigation.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the show get the boot. Of course I’ve been saying this back when Simon left. I guess it’s only a matter of time before they run out of potential judges.

Nicki Minaj on Ellen: ‘I Was Being Crazy With Mariah Carey’

by on

Nicki Minaj had black hair recently but it seems as though she's platinum blonde again. The 30 year-old rapper appears on the Ellen DeGeneres show today where she discusses her fight with Mariah Carey. Nicki has remained tight-lipped on the highly publicized feud until now, but she finally gave us some context when she appeared on Ellen today, saying: “I just kind of overcompensated by being crazier. If you know somebody maybe doesn’t like you, now you’re going to really go in… it’s like a defense mechanism, it’s really that your feelings are hurt, and you can’t believe, so you just compensate by being crazy.”

"I had a lot of talks with people — my family, my best friends, my label, Lil Wayne, management and then the producers."

Nicki explains that there is often "a judgmental culture in hip-hop.

"Sometimes you are afraid of being too famous because it's almost, like, is that even cool? Being that accessible, someone you see on TV every week? I never pictured myself as that type of person. I'm still surprised that I decided to do it."

She refused to discuss her alleged fight with Mariah Carey, but she said: "Sometimes things get heated for their own reasons. I don't think the panel has an issue."

President Obama: “Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj Will Make Peace”

by on

Well, he may not know what to do with his toothy running mate or that pesky Mormonaire (That's a millionaire Mormon. Spread it around.) nipping at his heels, but Barack Obama knows exactly how to deal with the Mariah Carey vs. Nicki Minaj feud: "Bury the hatchet, b!tches."

Ok, that's not at all what the President actually said, but he did sound off on the American Idol beef during a recent radio interview. "I think that they are going to be able to sort it out," Barry said to some radio show host named Michael Yo.  He continued:

"I'm all about bringing people together, working for the same cause. I think both outstanding artists are going to be able to make sure that they're moving forward and not going backwards."

So he's just playing the politician, right? Picking both sides without picking any side? Wrong! BHO knows who's got his back and it ain't some chick who rapped about her love for Mitt Romney. Asked to pick a side, Obama said,"Mariah. She's actually done some events for us…She's a wonderful lady"

Though in the style of a true diplomat, he added.:"Nicki, I don't know, but I've got her on my iPod."

Nicki Minaj to Mariah Carey on American Idol: ‘I’m Gonna Knock You Out!’

by on

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey hate each other, so it looks like it was a bad idea putting both divas on the same judging panel for the upcoming season of American Idol. Nicki told Mariah "I'm gonna knock you out!"

A new video has been posted that shows Nicki yelling at a very passive Ms. Mariah Carey. Minaj yells "I told them, I'm not f*ckin' putting up with her f*ckin' highness over there."

Sources say Nicki later threatened to "knock out" Mariah … but that part wasn't captured on tape.

Producers are concerned that things may escalate and ended auditions early today due to the blowout.

Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey: Fighting on American Idol

by on

Welp, at least this may pull in some ratings. Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj aren't fans of each other and they're unable to hide it during American Idol tapings.

Nicki and Mimi taped their first Idol episode yesterday in New York and when Nicki would critque contestants, Mariah would interrupt her.

"Each time Mariah interrupted, Nicki fought back by loudly talking over Mariah.

One "A.I." spy said Mariah and Nicki tried to cover their disdain for each other but everyone saw through it, adding, "These girls just don't like each other," TMZ reports.

Mariah Carey: Not Happy About Nicki Minaj American Idol Casting

by on

Yesterday, Nicki Minaj has reportedly already inked a deal to become the newest judge on American Idol. Nicki's people are now claiming that report is false, but producers are said to be still considering her for the job. Unfortunately for Nicki, it seems one of her potential co-hosts is throwing a big, diva-sized monkey wrench in the plan.

TMZ reports that Mariah Carey was so angry about possibly sharing judging duties with Nicki that she hung up on Idol producers during a heated conversation. Carey, of course, recently received a massive pay day from Idol and is seemingly already making waves despite having not yet taped a second of footage.

The Intrawebs are abuzz with excitement over Nicki taking a seat at the judges' table alongside her alter-ego, Roman Zolanski, but if you ask me, Mariah has nothing to worry about for two reasons:

1.) Nicki is a rapper. She can't sing for sh!t and unlike Randy Jackson, she's a relative newbie in the music biz. Even in the age of Howard Stern and Demi Lovato she would have less credibility than any talent competition judge on TV.

2.) This is the issue everyone seems to be tip-toeing around: if Randy Jackson decides to stay with the show, Nicki is out because we'll never see an all-black Idol panel. Most of the winners of this show go on to careers consisting of Midwestern mall tours and singin' 'bout Jesus on the country station that old lady in the cubicle next to you always listens to.

What I'm saying is, a lot of folks who watch Idol would be less likely to tune in if the show featured an all "urban" judges panel. Sadly, if you lose the hicks, you lose the ratings. It'd be like if Obama picked Jesse Jackson as his running mate. Sorry kids (and Nicki), that's unfortunately still the America we live in.
