Mariah Carey: Trying To Get Pregnant Again?

First, a disclaimer: this one comes from Star magazine and, thus, is probably total BS, but hey…ya never know.

The fabrication friendly tabloid reports that Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon are trying for baby number three, just one year after bringing twins Moroccan and Monroe into the world. This, of course, despite the fact that Mariah suffered major health problems during her first pregnancy.

“Mariah has made no secret of the fact that she wants baby No. 3,” says one of those “anonymous source” folks, adding that she’s pressing forward without regard for the complications she endured the last time around. Mariah suffered from gestational diabetes and gained upwards of 70 pounds during her previous pregnancy. In the unlikely event that the couple is actually planning on having another kid, we wish Nick and Mariah all the best.

Mariah Carey Threatens to Divorce Nick Cannon?

Rumors of a breakup have haunted Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey since they first started dating. Now married and raising a pair of twins, you’d think the couple would be safe from speculation, but a new round of tabloid reports suggests Mariah is threatening to leave Nick…out of concern for his health.

Nick has been hospitalized multiple times in the past year as the result of a rare kidney disease. An anonymous source claims that Mariah is fed up with Nick putting his health on the back burner so that he can focus on his career. The “insider” even claims she’s threatened to leave him and take the kids if he doesn’t start to take it easy and look after himself.

“He thinks Mariah is overreacting and blowing everything out of proportion,” says the source. “Besides that, Nick is insecure about living in Mariah’s shadow, and if he quit work altogether he feels like he’d have no identity of his own…He hates being known as Mr. Mariah Carey.”

This is likely BS (dude had to know he’d never match Mariah’s level of fame before he married her) but Nick has suffered some major health setbacks as of late and he did recently quit his CBS radio show. Maybe Mariah needed to talk tough in order for Nick to get his priorities straight.

Nick Cannon Suffers Mild Kidney Failure, Mariah Carey Urges Fans to Pray

Nick Cannon has been hospitalized after suffering from mild kidney failure. Mariah Carey Tweeted: “please pray for Nick as he’s fighting to recover” and posted the photo below. Mariah and Nick were vacationing in Aspen, Colorado when he got sick.

Carey said that she and her husband are “trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances.” Mariah continued: “Please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful. They tried to kick me out of the hospital but here I am pon de bed with Mr. C.”

Mariah’s Tweets make it sound like Nick’s dying, no joke. She says that the situation is “a serious moment.” Can we get an update already?! Damn. Get well soon Nick!!

Mariah recently said that Moroccan looks just like her, he does. He has her huge forehead! She totally favors him. Monroe on the other hand has her own look and they're both so cute! Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Twins: Pictures of Moroccan and Monroe

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon revealed their twins to the world on Friday's episode of 20/20. Barbara Walters had an exclusive with the excited parents. Nick said that his family "gives me everything," while Mariah said that being a married mother is "a beautiful place to be."

After six months of keeping Moroccan and Monroe away from the spotlight, "dem babies" were ready for their shine, so Mariah put her daughter in diamonds.

Everyone is acting like these babies are the most gorgeous children to ever grace the planet because that's how people react to celebrity babies: They overreact. Don't get me wrong, Moroccan and Monroe are adorable and I think they'll both get cuter as they get older.

Barbara asked Nick and Mariah about their plans for the children. Nick wants them to get an education, "to get a PhD," while Mariah's stage mom roots revealed itself. Mariah countered that "They really respond to music." Maybe they could do both.

Mariah Carey Makes Pregnancy Sound Like Hell

Queen diva Mariah Carey says that her “47-week” pregnancy with twins Moroccan and Monroe was extremely difficult. According to Mariah, she was basically knocked up for a year, but I digress.

Mrs. Nick Cannon appeared on HSN last night. It was her very first public appearance since giving birth. Carey, 41, and Nick, 30, had their twins on April 30, which is the couple’s third wedding anniversary.

“I was so uncomfortable. I’m kind of proud of myself. I really am — sorry, pregnant with twins is different than anything!”

Carey is convinced that the drama is two fold when you have two buns in the oven.

“[People] were always saying to me, ‘Oh, but it’s all worth it!’ Yeah, but it’s easy to say when you’re not the one whose feet are this big! It turned into like a really difficult time.”

Mariah said that her body went through “so much” because you have to keep twins in “for as long as possible.” She added, “It’s a sacrifice you make for them. Literally I was like, 47-weeks pregnant. And anybody pregnant right now, there’s push gifts here. Tell your baby-father.”

I can appreciate that Mimi’s being real. Pregnancy and child birth is easy for some and more difficult for others, especially the headcases that refuse to have an epidural yet complain about the pain! It’s nice to know that Mariah hasn’t sold her kids out yet. We still don’t even know what they look like! I think she’s going to be an amazing mother.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon Visited by Child Protective Services

Not even a month old, and Moroccan and Monroe are already causing drama.

According to Nick Cannon, the Carey-Cannon clan received a special little visitor right after Mariah Carey gave birth to her twins: Child Protective Services! In an interview with Piers Morgan, Nick revealed that CPS actually visited him in the hallway of the hospital due to allegations that Mimi had been taking medical drugs and drinking alcohol during her stay there.

Thankfully, they got everything cleared up soon.

Cannon explained, “It all started when a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink Guinness, the dark beer, the yeast improves breastfeeding. I don’t know if someone heard that, but then they were saying my wife was drinking beer. People will do anything to try to conjure up a story.”

And that really is the greatest (Hollywood) life lesson of all–to some extent, it’s good that M&M are learning this early on.

Mariah Carey Named Her Twins: Moroccan Scott and Monroe Cannon

Mariah Carey and hubby Nick Cannon have finally revealed the names of dem babies! According to Mariah's web site, the couple has named their new baby boy Moroccan Scott Cannon, and their daughter Monroe Cannon.

Their son is named Moroccan Scott Cannon. Scott is Nick’s middle name, as well as his grandmother’s maiden name.

The top tier of Mariah’s New York City apartment is called the Moroccan Room, because of the Moroccan-inspired decor. It’s also the place where Nick proposed to his wife, overlooking Manhattan!

Their daughter’s name is Monroe Cannon. Mariah's rep says she does not have a middle name because Mariah herself does not have one. Monroe was named after Marilyn Monroe, who has been an inspiration to Mariah her whole life.

Those aren't bad compared to other celebrity baby names like Ocean, Coco, Track, or Trig. Now that we've got the twins names out of the way, I'm ready for pictures of these little divas with silver spoons in their mouths.

Mariah Carey Gives Birth to Twins

It felt like Mariah Carey was pregnant for the last 4 years and she was looking big enough to rival the Octomom in the baby bump department, but Mariah, 42, has finally brought her little ones into the world. Mariah's rep Cindy Berger tells The Associated Press that Mariah had a girl, 5 lbs., 3 oz., and 18 inches long, along with a son, 5 lbs. 6 oz., and 19 inches.

Mariah gave birth at 9:07 Pacific at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.

Ironically, Nick Cannon and Mariah's wedding anniversary is also today. "I'm not trying to be a psychic, but we renew our vows every year so … It's probably going to be in the hospital this year. I can feel it," Cannon said Thursday when he guest-hosted The Talk. "We got the minister coming in, so this gown will not be a wedding gown, but a hospital gown."

 

Berger tells PEOPLE "she's doing great" and they were listening to Carey's "We Belong Together" after the children were born. "I spoke to both of them and they are both completely overjoyed."

Nick was reportedly nervous while diva Mariah Carey "was completely calm."

The baby names have yet to be released, but in January, Nick said that they won't get too crazy with it. "They won't be crazy names like Carburetor or something," he promised. "But they're definitely unique."

Mariah Carey has dropped her top yet again for the cover of a magazine. This time it’s the UK version of OK! magazine, and Mariah and her baby bump are simply glowing in this photo with hubby Nick Cannon cupping her boobs.

Instead of putting a sweet title like ‘I’m blessed!’ or ‘We’re excited to meet our twins!’ they put the most awesome caption ever… ‘I wish my babies would get off my bladder!’

Well, the time is coming soon enough for the little ones to be born and then she’ll be able to walk around for more than five minutes without feeling like she’s going to pee herself. Until then, she’s gonna have to suck it up!
