Russell Brand will penetrate date any woman with a pulse, so don't expect this to be the last time you hear about Russell jumping into another doomed relationship. The Sun reports that Rusty and "Ginger Spice" are dating.
The two were photographed on a date with Geri's 6-year-old daughter. Russell also hung out with the Spice Girls backstage at the Closing Ceremonies in London.
Geri hinted at a new relationship with Hello! magazine. Good luck!
Russell Brand appeared on Howard Stern’s show earlier this week to promote his FX last night show Brand X, but naturally Stern wanted to talk about his divorce with Katy Perry. Russell pretty much confirms the rumors that suggested that the couple split because he wanted to make babies now and Katy wanted to wait. Brand said he “was really into the idea of marriage and having children.”
He also said that he’s enjoying his freedom and he is dating Jordanna Brewster’s younger sister Isabella.
Katy’s ex explained: “I loved her so much, it just seemed like the sensible thing to do [when we got married] … I just loved her so much… This isn’t really working out, it’s a difficult situation … I was really, really in love with her, but it was difficult to see each other … We were together when it was right to be together, and when it wasn’t we worked it out … It was a lovely relationship … it mostly didn’t work for practical reasons … We did work it out, she’s happy, I’m happy.”
On having sex after marriage: “If you’ve been on a diet of rice for a while and suddenly Willy Wonka asked you to take over the factory, you’d be kicking over barrels of candy and swimming in a chocolate river.”
On Katy’s “Wide Awake” song: When Stern began dissecting the lyrics, citing the lines “I was in the dark … I was falling hard … how did I read the stars so wrong,” Brand got audibly uncomfortable. “That could be about anything … horoscopes, astronomy,” Brand joked. Citing the lines, “Now it’s clear to me/ that everything you see/ ain’t always what it seems,” Stern kept at it, suggesting that Perry was revealing her real feelings on the break. “Your interpretation sounds somewhat arbitrary,” Brand said. “She’s a young woman dealing with the breakup of a relationship … which is understandable. It’s a nice song.”
As expected, Russell Brand has been making the rounds since his divorce like the true manwhore that he is. Unexpectedly, however, Brand isn't hosting nightly orgies, but instead bouncing from one monogamous relationship to the next. His latest victim? Isabella Brewster.
"It's been going on for a few weeks," a source tells Us Weekly. "He really likes her." Isabella is the sister of actress Jordana Brewster and has previously dated Bradley Cooper and Milo Ventimiglia.
Brand, of course, was married to Katy Perry for 14 months before his sex addiction sent her running for the hills the couple split under mysterious circumstances. We're guessing Katy would have some choice advice for Ms. Brewster.

Granted I didn't watch Justin Bieber or Miley Cyrus' movies about being on tour, but I did watch Katy Perry's last night at the famous Chinese Grauman Theater in Hollywood. For the life of me I can not understand why Katy made this "documentary." She's said that she actually helped pay for some of it herself because she believes in it so much. Her career is on fire, but you don't see Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Adele and other chart toppers using a movie studio for their shameless self-promotion.
Part of Me is one and a half hours of footage that Katy approved of herself to show the world that she's just so great. Shockingly, for a young woman who celebrates her "weirdness" and gravitates towards being a quirky jokester, the film is virtually void of all humor.
Katy's work ethic is impressive to say the least. It's common for artists to cancel meet and greets, but Katy refuses to, no matter how exhausted she is. She also takes the time out to make each of her fans feel important instead of just a number in line. There wasn't much meet and greet footage shown in the film, but I do believe that she delivers every single time she meets her Katy Cats.
The film actually begins with an entire full-song performance of John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John singing in Grease. I sh!t you not! Moving on, a good one-fifth of the film shows Katy without her wearing any makeup. Unlike the picture Russell Brand posted, she doesn't look bad at all!
Katy shows footage of herself when she was a little girl, has people giving interviews about how she struggled to make it in the music industry and explains that she's embarking on a one-year tour, all the while Katy insists on having three to four days off every two weeks to fly wherever Russell is to see him. "I'm trying to keep my marriage alive," she says at one point. It was pretty heartbreaking to see footage of Katy bawling her eyes out backstage when she and Rusty split. Backstage she's seen bending over, crying and hyperventilating before putting a smile on, greeting the largest crowd of her entire tour, and belting out "Teenage Dream" before later breaking down in tears during her performance that night.
Katy does not explain why she and Rusty broke up in the movie, but the film makes it look as though she was the only one trying to keep the "marriage alive." Katy was always the one flying to see him, even when her manager reminds her that Russell was supposed to fly in to see her. She definitely makes Russell look like a jerk all the while making herself look like a saint.
I would have loved to have seen Katy feature some of her bad moments to counter all her perfect cheerfulness with some b!tchy rage, to explain why her fashion is so eccentric, why she obviously has trust issues (she works with everyone she met before she was famous) and why it seems like her only friends are the ones on her payroll, just saying. There's so much more to Katy, so Part of Me is definitely part of her.
I would have even enjoyed seeing footage of her speaking about where she finds her inspiration for her songs, how she chooses them, and her struggles to create her songs to begin with. Instead, Katy's 3D movie is less of a documentary and more of an overpriced Behind the Music or E! True Hollywood Story special. A good portion of the movie features Katy singing different songs on stage. For her fans who have seen her in concert, they're literally walking away with nothing extra.
The problem with Russell Brand is that he won’t STFU about his divorce from Katy Perry. Granted Lorraine Kelly of the Lorraine show asked him about it, it’s time for Rusty to get his reps to tell reporters not to ask him about his 14-month marriage.
Russell appeared on Lorraine yesterday and when the host told him that she’s sorry his marriage didn’t work out, Russell said: “Well, it did work out in a way because you are married for some time, and that’s really good, and then you’re not married, and that’s really good.”
He continued: “You just have to have acceptance of things. She is a person that I love, but now this is a new time.”
I think divorce isn’t “really good” just like any breakup isn’t “really good” when the relationship was also “really good.” That’s exactly what makes it suck.
Brand said that he and Katy were a good couple “for that amount of time, and now this is a new time.”
Stop living in the past bro! It’s time to shut your face or keep putting it on all the new women you’ve been spotted with.
Various media outlets are claiming that Russell Brand “dissed” ex-wife Katy Perry during his MTV Movie Awards monologue. Charles Manson’s twin brother, never has that description been more appropriate than now, said: “The last time I hosted I did marry someone who was there, so I’m keeping my eyes open for a new wife tonight.”
I don’t think that Russell insulted Katy. The problem with Russell’s predictable “joke” is that it’s not funny and it’s insensitive, not to mention in poor taste.
People have always been skeptical about Katy and Russell’s relationship and marriage because of Russell’s drug fueled, sex addict past. To make light of celebrity marriages, which is, like, totally sacred you guys, isn’t a good look for Rusty. Meanwhile, I can’t fault Brand too much, Katy’s cashing in on their breakup via her hit songs.
Russell Brand must be severing all ties with his ex-wife, because he doesn’t even want to be reminded of her on Twitter. The infamous playboy comedian has clicked the “unfollow” button next to Katy Perry’s name. Shocking! But not really.
Katy did the same for him right after they broke things off, but Russell waited until now to finally cut the virtual ties. Obviously, Katy has moved on with her new boy toy, Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd, and we think maybe Russell just doesn’t want to see his old number one happy, especially in the arms of another boo.
But it’s also just a good thing to unfollow someone when you break up with them, or they break up with you. Reading their Twitter feed is, like, looking into the depths of their soul. Or, you know, something akin to a murderous, masochistic endeavor that ends with you down a bottle of vodka, two hours of your time (spent reading inane updates), and half your dignity.
Because Katy Perry hasn’t had a boyfriend since she and Russell Brand split it’s easy to say that she wants to reconcile with her ex. UsWeekly is claiming that Katy wants to get back with her ex-husband Rusty, nevermind the fact that he already has another girlfriend, Oriela Medelin Amieiro. A close friend of Katy’s says: “Katy’s been trying to get him back! She’s a lost soul right now.”
Perry took “a solo trip to India” on April 3 and the trip “stirred up even more old feelings.” An insider explains “She’d already been missing Russell.”
Katy’s friend said that Katy and Russell “are trying to get to the point where they can at least be friends.”
Sigh! This entire story is sh!t, y’all. If Katy doesn’t have a new guy, naturally she’ll think of her last relationship, but she needs a brain transplant if she thinks it would be beneficial to be friends with her sex addict ex. The door to Russell’s bedroom is a revolving one and that’s what’s wrong with former couples being friends: You have to hide who you’re dating from your ex. Being friends is not how you move on, but changing your hair helps. Katy’s doing a great job with that at least.
